First things First...Drashti Dhami...Hatts of to you...While i was to make a separate post on this seeing all the wonderful posts already made in signing praises for DD and her portrayal of Madhu i decided to leave my comments on them and make a new one. 😉
My title says "Love it or Hate it, There was no Rishabala Tonight"...and that's true...Where was Rishabala tonight? No where ..It was simply RK and Madhubala Mallik all the way... well it's been so since a few days but aaj toh they fixed it...sealed it. It was like that dialogue "Ab tak sirf Tum the, par ab main bhi hoon" 😊
RK with his obsessiveness, arrogance, ego and the fear of losing his favorite Toy etc . Each and every word he said today was still dipped in the "I, Me, Myself" potion.
Madhubala Mallik with her determination, her courage and will to teach the Man who destroyed her life a lesson and continued making a mockery out of it and the extent to which she could go to regain her lost "Maan-Samman".
While looking at RK, all I saw was the Man i have been seeing since Day 1 (Of his entry).
But looking at Madhu today i saw the old Madhubala with a slight variation. Old Madhubala because the fire in her eyes reminded me of that time when she was hell bent to put Superstar RK behind bars, did not hesitate sending her Bangles to RK so that he could wear them,walked into the studio and slapped RK in public etc The Variation would be her calm and composed demeanor during the entire time that showed how calculative and careful she was, after all it was "Sabak RK wala" .
CV's what an excellent way to show that Rishabala kab ka mitt gaya, ab se it's only RK and Madhu...Claps Claps ...There was a drastic transition and yet it was so damn smooth. 👏
P:S- Those of you who don't agree, please do it with grace. Everybody is entitled to their opinion and this is mine... This is not a spamming post so please refrain from spamming.
