~Recap~

Everyone gathered around Viraat, who was lying on the floor, covered with blood all over his face. His vision were getting blurred, but he was just looking at his phone, trying to grab it, which was lying two feets away from him. He smiled with tears, as flashback of his Maanvi's smiling face, came in front of his eyes.

Viraat: (smiling/reaching his hands out for his phone) Maa..Maan...Maan...vi...

And his eyes closed.

~Chaudhary House~

Jeevika: (hands on Maanvi's shoulder) Mannu, kuch bol na, kya hua hai?

Maanvi was just standing still, with tears rolling down her cheeks. Viren took the phone out of her hands and held it near his ear.

Viren: (damn worried) Hello Viraat?...Viraat?

Jeevika and the Chaudhary's attention went towards Viren from Maanvi, who was just standing still without any movements.

Unknown person: (on the other side of the phone) Hello?
Viren: Aap kaun hai? Aur mere Bhai ke phone ke saath kya kar rahe hain?
Unknown Person: Ji mera naam Gopal hai, aur yeh phone jiska hai unka accident ho gaya hai.
Viren: Kya?
Gopal: Jii, hum bas unhe hospital le kar jaa rahi hain.
Viren: Kaunse hospital?

Gopal told him the name of the hospital.

Viren, along with Madhan Chachu, Jeevika and Maanvi, reached the hospital. Viren ran to the receptionist.

Viren: Kya aap bata sakhti hai abhi abhi jo accident case aaya hai, woh paitent kis room mein hai.
Receptionist: Yes, let me check.

She checked and infromed him that Viraat was in the OT. Viren, Madhan Chachu, and Jeevika, who was holding Maanvi by her shoulder, went to the OT. As they reached there, they saw the doctor coming out of the OT, Viren and Madhan Chachu ran towards him, while Jeevika made Maanvi sit on the chair, that was placed in front of the OT.

Viren: Doctor, mera Bhai kaisa hai? Woh theek toh hai na?
Doctor: Aap paitent ke Bhai hain?
Viren: Ji Doctor.
Doctor: That's great. Actually paitent ka khoon bahut beh gaya hai, aur humare blood bank mein unke group ka blood nahi hai, kya aap dono ke blood group ek hi hain?
Viren: (smiles) Yes Doctor, hum dono ka ek hi blood group hai.
Doctor: Great, aap jaiye aur kuch test karwalijiye.
Viren: Doctor, mera Bhai theek toh ho jaiye ga na.
Doctor: Hum abhi kuch keh nahi sakhte, unki halaat bahut kharab hai. Sir(head) par chot lagne ki wajha se unki memory bhi jaa sakhti hai. We can just hope for the best.
Viren: Kuch bhi karke mere Bhai ko bacha lijiye Doctor, (hands folded) Please.
Doctor: We are trying our best. Aap please jaldi se apna test karwa lijiye.
Viren: JI.
Doctor: (to the Nurse) Sister, take him with you.

Viren went along with the Nurse, while Madhan Chachu walked towards Jeevika, who was looking at Maanvi helplessly.

Jeevika: (teary eyes) Mannu, kuch bol na? Mannu..?

Madhan Chachu sat beside Maanvi and placed his hand on her head. Maanvi was just sitting still, without any movements, without any tears in her eyes, she was just looking at the door of the OT.

Madhan Chachu: Mannu, Beta sambhal apne aapko. Viraat ko kuch nahi hoga, bhagwaan par bharosa rakh.
Jeevika: Haan Mannu.

Maanvi didn't move at all. She was just looking at the door, without blinking even once. Jeevika couldn't see her Baby Sister like that, she ran away from there as she couldn't control herself. Madhan Chachu looked at Maanvi and then at Jeevika, he got up and went to her.

Madhan Chachu: Jeevika?
Jeevika: (hugs him/crying) Chachu aisa kyun hota hai. Humari Mannu ke saath hi aisa kyun hota hai? Kuch hi din huye usse theek huye, aur ab uski zindagi aaj...kyun karta hai aisa bhagwaan meri Mannu ke saath? Kyun?
Madhan Chachu: Jeevika, sambhal apne aapko, agar tu hi rone lagegi toh Maanvi ko kaun sambhalega. Usse tumhari zarurat hai. Usse sambhalna teri zimmadari hai. Tu hi aise aansu bahaye gi toh usse himmat kaun dega?
Jeevika: (crying, while hugging him tightly) Jo ladki sab ki himmat banti hai, main usski himmat kaise banun Chachu?
Madhan Chachu: Tujhe banna hi padega. Woh abhi sadme mein hai, jo uski sehat(health) ke liye bilkul bhi theek nahi hai. Usse uss sadme se dur laana hoga.
Jeevika: (pulls away from the hug) Main koshish karungi Chachu, apne Mannu ki himmat banne ki main har ek koshish karungi.
Madhan Chachu: (smiled with tears) Jao.

Jeevika looked at Maanvi, who didn't even move an inch. She wiped her tears and walked back to her. She sat beside her and held her hand in hers.

Jeevika: Mannu? Viraat ki yaad aa rahi hai?

Maanvi moved her eyes, she looked at Jeevika as if she was looking at her for the first time.

Jeevika: (trying controlling herself) Usse bulao na Mannu. Bulao apne Viraat ko. Aise chup mat raho. Woh aa jaiye ga, bulao Mannu.

Viren, who was standing with Madhan Chachu, listening to Jeevika's words, and Maanvi's condition, went towards them and sat in front of Maanvi.

Viren: Maanvi?
Jeevika: Viren Ji.

Viren assured her with his tear filled eyes and turned his gaze back at Maanvi.

Viren: Maanvi, Viraat ko tumhari zarurat hai. Usse awaaz do Maanvi. Woh tumhari awaaz sun kar zarur aa jaiye ga. Bulao usse Maanvi.
Jeevika: Mannu kuch bol na..bula apne Viraat ko. Mannu bula na usse.

Maanvi was still not reacting. Jeevika looked at Viren with teary eyes, he placed his palm on her hand, try to console her.

Maanvi: Viraat...???

Jeevika and Viren turned their gaze back to Maanvi.

Viren: Maanvi..?
Jeevika: (smiled with tears) Mannu...?
Maanvi: Viraat..(looking at Viren) Jiju..(looking at Jeevika) Di...Vi..Viraat?
Viren: (hand on her head/tears rolling down his cheeks) Kuch nahi hoga Viraat ko, hum sab hai na, kuch nahi hone degein usse.
Maanvi: (hugs Jeevika/crying) Viraat...Di, Vi..Viraat.
Jeevika: (hugging her back/trying to control her tears) Mannu, kuch nahi hoga, himmat rakh.

Madhan Chachu walked towards them, and sat beside Maanvi.

Madhan Chachu: (hand on her head) Mannu, Beta ro mat, himmat rakh, Viraat ko kuch nahi hoga.

Maanvi turned and hugged Madhan Chachu tightly, while crying.

Maanvi: Viraat ko kuch nahi hoga na Chachu? Mere Viraat ko kuch nahi hoga na?

Madhan Chachu: (controlling his emotions) Kuch nahi hoga, kuch bhi nahi hoga.

The Doctor came out of the OT, Viren and Madhan Chachu ran towards him, while Jeevika and Maanvi stood up from their seat.

Madhan Chachu: Doctor, Viraat?
Doctor: Unki haalat bahut nazuk hai, abhi hum kuch keh nahi sakhte. Hum apni taraf se puri koshish kar rahe hai, baki sab upar wale ke haathon mein hai. Aap sab bas dua kijiye.

The Doctor went away. leaving tears rolling down in everyone's eyes.

Dada Ji: (shocked/worried) Kya? Yeh kab huya? Kaise hua?

Everyone in the Vadhera house gathered around Dadaji, who was talking on the phone.

Dadaji: Hum bas abhi nikal rahe hai hospital ke liye. Maanvi ka khayal rakhna.

Dadaji hanged up the phone and looked at everyone.

Swamini Bua: Kya hua Bauji? Kiska phone tha? Aur kaun hai hospital mein?
Dadaji: Viraat.
Vanshika Maa: Kya? Viraat? Par Viraat toh ghar par...(calling out for him) Viraat? Viraat? Viraat kahan hai tu? Viraat?
Dadaji: Viraat yahan nahi hai Bahu.
Vanshika Maa: (tears filled her eyes) Bauji, aap mazak kar rahe hai na. Mera Viraat toh ghar se nikla hi nahi.
Kadambari Chachi: Bhabhi, woh Viraat ghar par nahi hai, usne mujhse bataya tha ki woh Rishikesh jaa raha hai, usse Maanvi ki bahut yaad aa rahi thi.
Dadaji: Bahu, humein aur waqt zaaya nahi karna chahiye. Sab taiyaar ho jao, hume Rishikesh ke liye jald se jald nikal na hoga.
Swamini Bua: Haan Bauji, hum taiyaari karte hain nikalne ki.

Maanvi was sitting in front of a idol of Lord Ganesh, which was placed in the hospital.

Maanvi: (hands folded) Bhagwaan ji, please mere Viraat ko theek kar dijiye. Main usske bina nahi jee sakhti. Agar aapko koi chahiye toh aap mujhe apne paas bula lijiye, par mere Viraat ko chodh dijiye. Uski yahan sab ko zarurat hai, Maa ko, Jiju ko, Dadaji ko, sab ko. Please usse kuch mat kijiye. Main aapse wada karti hun main aapse kabhi aur kuch nahi mangungi, usse chodh dijiye. (looking up) Mama Papa, please Bhagwaan ji ko samjhiye na, mere Viraat ko theek karne ke liye. Please Mama Papa, samjhaiye na unhe.

Jeevika came towards her Baby Sister and placed her hand on her shoulder. Maanvi turned around and saw Jeevika who had tears in her eyes. She sat beside her and hugged her as tight as she could.

Maanvi: (crying) Aisa humare saath hi kyun hota hai Di? Kya Bhagwaanji ko hume khush dekhna acha nahi lagta? Mera Viraat, aaj meri wajha se. Mujhe yahan nahi aana chahiye tha. Usne mujhe mana bhi kiya, fir bhi main chali aayi Di. Uske baare mein ek baar bhi nahi socha. Agar aaj usse kuch ho gaya na Di, toh main khud ko kabhi maaf nahi karungi. Nahi karungi.
Jeevika: (broke the hug/wipes her tears) Kuch nahi hoga Mannu, Viraat tumse dur nahi jaa sakhta.
Maanvi: (crying/pleading through her eyes) Sachi na Di? Woh nahi jaye ga na? Woh mujhe chod kar nahi jaye ga na Di. Mere paas hi rahe ga na? Bolo na Di.
Jeevika: (hands on her cheeks) Haan Mannu, haan, nahi jaye ga.

Jeevika looked at her right and saw the Vadhera family, walking towards them. She helped Maanvi get up, after getting up. Maanvi looked at everyone and more tears rolled down her cheeks.

Dadaji: Viren, Viraat kaisa hai?
Viren: Dadaji Doctor ne kaha hai ki uski haalat abhi bahut nazuk hai, bahut khoon bhi beh gaya tha, usse khoon ki zarurat thi, toh maine apna khoon...
Vanshika Maa: (crying) Viren, Viraat theek toh ho jaye ga na? Usse zyada chot toh nahi lagi hai na? (shaking him) Bolo na Viren.
Viren: (hands on her cheeks) Maa, Doctor koshish kar rahe hain, sab theek ho jaiye ga.

Vanshika Maa looked at Maanvi, who was looking down, while trying to hold back her cries. She walked towards her and placed her palm on her cheek. Maanvi looked up at Vanshika Maa, with tears streaming down her face.

Vanshika Maa: Maanvi?
Maanvi: Ma..Maa..Vi..Viraat...

Vanshika Maa pulled her in a tight hug and cried out her heart along with Maanvi.

Maanvi: Maa, Viraat..Viraat ko bacha lijiye na please Maa. Usse bula lijiye, woh aapki baat maan jaiye ga. Bula lijiye na Maa usse.
Vanshika Maa: Kuch nahi hoga usse Maanvi, kuch nahi hoga humare Viraat ko.

Jeevika couldn't control her tears so she hugged Kadambari Chachi, who was already in tears.

All the Chaudhary's, and the Vadhera Families were sitting outside of the OT, while Doctors were inside, operating Viraat. After four hours or so, the Doctors came out of the room. Everyone got up and walked towards them hurriedly.

Viren: Doctor, Viraat?
Doctor: (smiles) He's out of danger now, (frowns) par hum yeh nahi keh sakhte ki woh puri tarah theek hai.
Dadaji: Kya hum usse mil sakhte hai.
Doctor: Yes of course. But make sure uske dimaag par koi zor na pade.
Viren: (smiles) Thank you Doctor.

Everyone entered the OT, Viren, Vanshika Maa, and Dadaji walked towards where Viraat was lying, while everyone else were standing a little behind. Maanvi was the last person who entered the room, she was just looking at Viraat, standing by the door, with a smile on her lips and tears in her eyes. Vanshika Maa placed her hand on Viraat's hand, tears flowing down her face.

Vanshika Maa: Viraat..?

Viraat, very slowly opened his eyes, everyone smiled as they saw him opening his eyes. Maanvi held her mangalsurat in her hand, looked up with a smile, and teary eyes, silently thanking god and her parents.

Viraat: (gave a weak smile) Ma..Maa..
Vanshika Maa: (caressing his hair lovingly) Viraat? Tu theek hai na Beta? Dard toh nahi ho raha hai na tujhe kahin?
Viraat: Na..nahi Maa.
Viren: (places his hand on Viraat's) Viraat, tu theek hai na?
Viraat: Main, theek..hun Bhai.

Jeevika and Maanvi smiled at each other and hugged sideways.

Inder Chachu: (smiles) Chalo shukar hai, kitna dar gaye the hum.
Viraat: (looking around) Chachu, main kahan hun?
Inder Chachu: Hospital mein.
Viraat: Hospital?
Viren: Haan, tera accident ho gaya tha, isiliye tujhe yahan laana padha. Kitna pareshan karta hai tu hum sab ko.

Jeevika smiled at Maanvi and signalled her to go towards Viraat. Maanvi smiled back and slowly started walking towards the bed, where Viraat was lying.

Viraat: (confused) Par hum toh...Rishikesh aapke liye ladki dekhne aaye, the na. Kya naam tha unka...haan, Jeevika.

Maanvi stopped in her tracks, she looked at Viraat, who was looking at Viren questioningly. Everyone looked at each other shockedly and then at Maanvi, who was just standing still, looking at Viraat with a expressionless face.

Viraat: Kya hua Bhai? Aap udar kisko dekh rahe ho?

Viraat gaze went towards Maanvi, but he just ignored her and looked back at Viren.

Viren: Woh..woh..
Swamini Bua: Um, Viraat tum abhi araam karo, zyada stress lene ki zarurat nahi hai, (smiles at him) hum baad mein aate hain.
Viraat: Par Bua?
Vanshika Maa: Viraat, Didi sahi keh rahi hai. Hum baad mein aate hain Beta, tum araam karo hm..chalo, so jao thodi der.

Viraat smiled and nodded at her. Jeevika took Maanvi out of the room, along with the rest of the family members.

Dadaji: Doctor sahab, kya hua hai Viraat ko?
Doctor: Jiska dar tha wohi hua hai.
Viren: (confused) Aap kehna kya chahte hai Doctor?
Doctor: Mr. Vadhera, mere kehne ka matlab yeh hai ki Viraat ki zindagi se uske kuch saal uske memory mein se erase ho gaya hai. Jis tarah se Viraat ke sir(head) par chot laga tha, waisi case mein toh patient apni puri zindagi bhul jaate hain, unke dimaag se unki zindagi earse ho jaati hai, par Viraat ke saath aisa nahi hua. Unhe aap sab yaad hai, bas woh apni zindagi ke kuch saal bhul gaya hai. Aaj humne jab usse date pucha toh usne hume 2011 ki date bataayi.
Inder Chachu: Matlab ki uski zindagi ke do saal uske dimaag se erase ho gaya hai.
Doctor: Haan.
Viren: Toh kya uski yeh memory wapas nahi aa sakhti Doctor? Kya hum kuch aisa nahi kar sakhte jisse uski yaad dash(memory) wapas aa jaye.
Doctor: Agar hum usse force kareinge kuch bhi yaad dilane ke liye toh ho sakhta hai woh coma mein chala jaiye, dimaag par zor padhne ki wajha se.
Madhan Chachu: Toh kya Viraat ki yaad dash kabhi wapas nahi aaye gi?
Doctor: Usse yaad aa bhi sakhta hai aur nahi bhi. Ho sakhta hai usse kuch mahine, kuch saal mein yaad aa jaiye. Ya fir aisa bhi ho sakhta hai ki usse kabhi kuch bhi yaad na aaye. Main bas yahi keh sakhta hun ki unhe yaad dilane ki koshish kijiye par woh sab kar ke jo in do saal mein unke saath hua hai. Ho sakhta hai akhon ke samne hote huye, usse dheere dheere sab yaad aa jaiye. Par yaad rahe, unke dimaag par koi stress nahi padhna chahiye, koi bhi aisi baat nahi honi chahiye uski past se related jo uske dimaag par asar kare, negatively. I hope you're getting what I'm trying to say.
Viren: (fake smile) Yes Doctor, hum apne taraf se puri koshish kareinge.
Doctor: Thank You..main unke liye kuch dawaiyaan likh deta hun, abhi woh weak hai, toh yeh medicines unhe dete rahiye ga, thode din tak.
Viren: Ok Doctor.

Jeevika turned towards Maanvi and saw her all broken. Standing still at a place, with tears rolling down. She walked towards her and held her by her shoulder.

Maanvi: Mera Viraat,,,apni Maanvi ko..bhul gaya...

Everyone turned towards her, as they heard her word. They felt really bad seeing her in that condition, all lost and broken, alone and sad.
