Part 52

That night - Roshni's Flat

Roshni was sitting on the couch watching a movie with Gia. But she was still lingering in those moments...she blushed and chuckled remembrng his shocked face.

Roshni (in mind) : "Shayad khadoos kehti to zyada khush hote. Bechara mera mobile b shaheed hone se bach jata."

She takes the pieces in her hands and looks sympathetically towards it. Roshni's landline rings.

Roshni : "Hello!... Aap!"
Arjun : "Gia hai wahan?"
Roshni (surprised) : "Aapne Gia k liye phone kiya hai?"
Arjun : "Hmm tumne hi to kaha tha..."
Roshni : "Lekin wo to aapne... aur mujhe laga aap..."
Arjun : "Tum Gia ko balloons de dogi?"
Roshni : "Kya? Ab itni raat ko main..."
Arjun : "Apni balcony me aao."
Roshni : "What?"
Arjun : "Do as I say. Apni balcony me aao."

She was confused and comes to the balcony.

Roshni : "Hmmm aa gayi."
Arjun : "Ab neeche dekho."

She comes near the railings and looks down. A bunch of gas balloons comes straight up towards her. She steps back in amazement and then as it touches its railing she quickly holds its strings and pulls them inside.

Gia (xcited comes in balcony) : "Aunty! Balloons! Mere liye?"

And Gia xcitedly leans to look at the balloons. Roshni was still shocked.

Roshni : "Nhi Gia! Railing se peeche. Main deti hu *notices a small box attached to it* Ab ye kya hai?"
Gia : "Main dekhu?"

Roshni was still trying to manage those many balloons. She hands her the phone.

Roshni : "Pehle ander chalo! Aur ye lo phone, Uncle ko thanku bolo."

Gia talks with him on the phone and giggles looking at Roshni. It was the first tym that Roshni was a bit jealous of Gia.

Roshni : "Gia se baat ki aur mujhe...kuch b nahi. Are kam se kam phone k liye hi..."
Gia (cuts the phone) : "Ye lo. Uncle ne kaha aunty ko sorry bolo...unki side se"
Roshni (holding the box) : "Huh!"

Roshni tears that box and finds mobile in it...same model that she had. She was surprised...pleasantly surprised though. She looks at it with a big smile. Holding it and with a glowing face, she rushes to the balcony to see if he was standing there but he was gone. She looks at the mobile and smiles remembrng him.

Mere chhote chhote khwaab hain
Khwabon mein geet hain
Geeton mein zindagi hai
Chaahat hai, preet hai
Abhi main na dekhoon khwaab woo
Jin mein na tu mile
Le khole honth maine
Ab tak the jo sile

Gia : "Aunty! Uncle kitne acche hai na?"
Roshni (smiles) : "Bahot!" *looks at the mobile and smiles*

Mujhko na jitna mujh pe
Utna iss dil ko tujh pe
Hone laga aitbaar
Tanha lamhon mein apne
Bunti hoon tere sapne
Tujhse hua mujhko pyaar o o..
Poochungi tujhko kabhi naa
Chaahun main ya naa
Tere khaabon mein ab jeena
Chaahun main kyun naa!

And then both play with the balloons.

Next Day

Roshni enters Arjun's cabin. He was checking his gun and was getting ready for the mission. Roshni smiles looking at him. Arjun looks at her as if he doesnt care.

Arjun : "Kuch kaam tha?"
Roshni : "Nhi...I mean haan. Wo aapko thanx kehna tha...mobile k liye..."
Arjun (putting his gun at the back, smiles a bit) : "Oh Gia ko accha laga?"
Roshni (blushing) : "Bahot aur...kya??" *confused looks at him*
Arjun : "Wat! Ab Gia se baat karne k liye ek aur phone to chahiye tha na...after all wo mujhe itna samajhti jo hai..."

Arjun smiles and leaves the rum. It was a tiny-winy revenge frm his side for playing that call prank on him.

Roshni (angry) : "Kitne bure hai ye! Huh!"
Arjun (peeps from the door) : "Come fast! Evrybody is waiting for u."

Purana Bazar

The lanes were small and conjusted. The team reached there on tym and took their positions outside that house. The informers were indeed correct with their information. Some goons were guarding that area. This was clearly indicating that something big was going to happen there. They were carefully observing the whole area.

Rathor : "Yaha to bahot saare log hai."
Arjun : "Hmm. Hum log yaha se lead lete hai. Chotu aur Shree tum hume cover doge."
Shree, Chotu : "Yes sir!"
Rathor : "Ek min! Roshni kaha hai?"

Roshni had already moved forward and was peeping inside thru a broken window. Arjun looks at her shocked.

Arjun : "Shit! Rathor main aage ja raha hu."
Rathor : "Nhi Arjun! Ruko! *but he didnt listen* Damn it!"

Arjun moved forward. The deal was in progress inside the rum. Some 10-15 small children were being sold to a man. Cash was xchanged and the deal got final. One man notices them there. He aims at Roshni and fires a bullet. Arjun sees that and pushes her. The bullet comes and hits Arjun at his arm.

Roshni (shouts) : "Sir!"
Rathor (shouts) : "Arjun!"
Arjun (recovering) : "Main.. theek.. hu. Lets move."

And then gun fires were on from both sides. They all took cover behind walls and were trying to kill as many as possible. The team made their way to that rum. Arjun and Rathor entered the rum followed by rest of the team. After a brief fight and some gun fires, they were successful in taking control over them. Soon police arrived there and took the criminals with them. The team's work was done there. The case was over now. So they also moved towards their vehicle.

Rathor : "Lets go frm here! Aur Arjun tum yaha se seedha..."

But as Arjun takes a step, he came crashing on the floor. Evryone rushes to him. Ambulance was immediately called and Arjun was taken to hospital.
