Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahi
Twice as nice?
It's hectic enough to work with one unit, and to top it, there are two units working on a twelvehour schedule! The result is chaos, even as the stars work with both units alternatively. On unit one, episode director Rohit Khanna is directing Mona Singh (Jassi) and Vikas Bhalla (CJ Oberoi) for what is called a 'master' scene. The scene has CJ and Jassi talking about the sexual harassment accusation by Rhea
(Pooja Ghai Rawal) against Armaan (Apoorva Agnihotri). With the cameras rolling, Mona and Vikas get their lines right. That done, they are back to their usual vivacious selves, not to mention, the infectious giggles!
Cut to unit two, this one has director Romesh Kalra sweating it out in the sweltering heat. The scene being shot is a close-up of
Rakhi Tandon (Angel), conversing with CJ. A talented actor that she is, Rakhi delivers her lines with much elan and readies for the next scene.
Brownie Points…. and ghar ka khana!
In between scenes, when the star cast actually manages to take a breather, one is treated to dollops of masti, snatches of a naughty conversation revolving around men, women and, well, yummy brownies! Even as Vikas Bhalla, Mona Singh, Rakshanda Khan and Apoorva Agnihotri (who keeps spraying perfume every now and then, to beat the heat and sweat) dig into the brownie box, Rakhi Tandon swears by her ghar ka khana
brought in a dabba!
Hugs, complaints, mockfights and full throttle!
Straddling between the two units, unforgiving heat and layers of make-up... such a deadly combination can only beckon craziness! Taking the cake for craziness are Rakhi and Rakshanda's antics — from an embrace to a throttle — and their chosen victim is the dashing Vikas Bhalla. Even as he struggles to protect his sanity, Apoorva adds his own mischievous inputs to this session of an off-screen entertainment. On the other hand, there's Pooja Ghai Rawal cribbing about being in a ghaai, so much so that she never manages to catch an episode of Jassi. Mona Singh rejoices her latest conquest — a new car — and Rakshanda complains about no single men on the sets. Little wonder then, their conversation could easily pass off as one going on in the college foyer!
For a song?
Speaking of college foyers, they are not new to jammin'. So, while Mona Singh just can't get the song 'Just chill' out of her head, there is Vikas, the singer, belting out his hit song 'Aise na mujhe tum dekho'. As if on cue, Rakhi Tandon joins in, giving rise to a crescendo. Boy, do these guys know to enjoy or what!
