Depends on which community you are talking abt. I think in America it is over-hyped. Like everything is centred on whether you have enough sex, good sex and when etc. But some places where sex is so taboo it ignores that it is an important part of humans and human relations that it becomes a problem. So it has to be balanced.
Even in America, life is not centered on sex. I live in the US, and surprisingly, people I know mostly talk about work or movies or TV shows or video games or the latest electronic gadgets and of course food and fitness.. and then we do have the occasional dirty talk... 😛 I guess not everyone lives the life of Carrie Bradshaw!
But I agree about what you said.. people need to talk about sex, to understand that its an important part of human relationships. Along with sex, they need to learn about consent and boundaries and respect .. and most importantly they need to learn how to do it right! What better way than to talk to parents or people who have actually done it! 😊
