n devika wouldnt hav let her grandaughter marry if she knew dis too.(remember she spoke 2 mahen b4 d wedding actually happend).i rekon she tinks its just land..which is also true.

also if shiv knew d grl day marries him will die in 365 days, why did he marry her if he den 4rm d 1st night was torturing her? if he agreed becos of d 365 death thing, den he wouldnt want her to leave as it would hav been just pointless then 4 him 2 sit in d mandap.

also i rekon d reason why shiv tortured her,is truely becos he never liked her (as she was problematic 4 him b4),n he thought 'well now uv married me hope u dnt start lovin me,as i already hav ipshita as my love'.it was d way 2 stop gauri 4rm fallin in love wiv him,n if she left it wud hav benefited him,as he told he monday remember (b4 she admitted her love 2 him).

about him pretending to have an affair.....well i dnt tink he'll pretend as it does say in d character profile dat ipshita IS his lady love....so i rekon he HAS already had his affairs....but dou blame him? if ipshita was his love 4rm b4 den he obviously would have B4.....

the good thing we have to understand is dat ATLEAST we no he wnt hav an affair NOW!! as blatenly he loves gauri...hence gauri wnt be hurt after she finds out (cos ipshita WAS his 1st love, n NOW its gauri)

anyway sorry to go on guys....but i rekon after shiv realised gauris innocence DATS wen he stopped HURTING her....hence he felt bad 4 marrying her for his benefits (which he tinks r JUST accidents not death).

Good explanation to a possible good prediction rahena 😛.. Let's see which way the tide turns this time. I think Iqbal's exit would have a major impact on the storyline itself.. So gotta wait for that one now 😉

I think Shiv was forced into the marriage by his Dad. He wanted Gauri to leave because he did not love her . He did not appear to be the marrying kind. He may not have believed in the Kundali thing (that his life is in danger and that Gauri's Kundali will help him although she will suffer).

However, when their lives were in danger in the forest, he must have started to believe in it because that was the first time he showed some emotion of caring for Gauri. As of now he may have already fallen in love with her but is unware of it. But he definitely cares for her well being. That is why he wants to break the marriage so that she is not hurt anymore.

He, however, does not have the guts to tell her the truth. Hence he requested Shanks to do the honours.

If Gauri comes to know the truth she will not leave Shiv because she loves him and would not want to endanger his life by leaving him. (Even if it means her own life is in danger)

I think Shiv will pretend to have an affair with Ipshita just to get rid of Gauri for her own good.

In the end both will do what they believe is good for the other since both are very much in love with each other.
