I am super mad at the CVs for the first time. We are almost at the end of the show and they do this NOW! Why couldn't they bring such a confrontation between Yash and Aarti a while ago. It was so amazing. Brought back memories of when our show was at its peak. Beautiful.
Now to Yash and Aarti. I am sure the scene has been dissected enough. But I have to put in my 2 cents.๐
Yash finally called out on Aarti's self injurious need to solve every problem. I understand where she is coming but things have changed, situations have changed and there are new relationships in her life now. She has to learn to depend on others. It would be good for her own sanity as well as the sanity of others around her. She could have picked up the phone and called any of the brothers to corroborate the anonymous caller's story. Or she could have called any of the family members and told them that she just received such a call. I get it that she probably felt like her world just came crashing down on hearing something terrible happened to Yash but impulsiveness and irrational thinking doesn't help anyone and definitely not herself. So, I loved it that Yash called her out on it especially considering the fact that this is exactly what she asked of him just a few days ago. Will it lead her to reflect on this trait of hers, that is this need to always be in control of situations when the situation threatens to rock her world? Until she married Yash this need in her served the purpose of making sure she survived in this harsh society but now this very trait is threatening her relationships and her credibility.
Coming to Yash. Sigh, where do I start. ๐If Aarti's biggest character flaw is her need to be in control then Yash's is his propensity to jump to conclusions without looking at the big picture. If I am going to assume that Yash was not faking his anger, then all I can I say is that along with Aarti he needs to do some huge amount of self reflection. I understand his anger and his helplessness. A lot of the stuff he said was because of his anger directed at Aarti but also at himself for letting something like this happen. But he was way off mark on a lot of things. In fact he was downright cruel when he said certain things. He has seen her deal with two kidnappings already. I understand his anger at her being careless but to say that she was cooking up this story as a 'get out of jail' card was way below the belt. That is NOT Aarti. She has made tons of mistakes in this relationship. Yet she has never ever cooked up stories to get herself out of trouble. In fact even when she particularly didn't do anything wrong she has only apologized, for example, after the Mumbai trip when everyone was blaming her and she had no clue what she did. So for Yash to say that just seemed bizarre even if we give the justification that he was upset at Aayu's disappearance.
Is he faking it or is it real? I remember we all had the exact same question when the debate track was going on and Ansh's debate paper was mixed up. ๐I am 20/50 on this. The way Yash spelled out everything that happened including the soapy water incident and the way he blamed Aarti for cooking up all this makes me wonder if he is faking it to catch the real culprit. BUT, I so badly want it to be real because it will bring to light both the protagonists biggest character flaws. Yash had every right to call Aarti out on her need to do everything by herself but I am hoping and praying once Aayu is brought back home that Aarti too calls out Yash on his annoying habit of assuming things and not allowing the other person to state their side. In my opinion, every time he has jumped to conclusions and Aarti has borne the brunt of his displeasure she has never held him accountable afterwards. It is high time she does it, I would say. And it would be oh so exciting to watch.
Lastly, Ishita's days are truly numbered. I remember when Prashant had Ansh on top of the roof, he too had let out a demonic laughter and then he met his end that very same day. So ya, Ishita's demise literally or figuratively is surely on the way. I wonder if Ishita will bring out her gun and start shooting when she finds her back up against the wall. By the way, do we need to be surprised at what Ishita did. This is the same woman who was going to shoot Yash on her wedding day in front of 100s of people. ๐ก
