WHERE - DKDM SET NAIGAON
WHY - An Invitation by Sonarika Bhadorai aka Parvati Ma of the Small Screen
Five people met, for a day that will forever remain in our hearts.
3 of us represented the India Forum and the Sonarika FC on Twitter
[FORAM, SIA AND JAYASHREE]
, and the other two die hard DKDM fans and who love and admire Sonarika. [MADU AND RAM]
We met at the scheduled time of 10 am on a really hot Sunday morning, and were on our way to meet some of the people who we have been admiring, loving, teasing, for the last 1 and half years.
We were 5 people 3 of us meeting for the first time, but it felt so much we have known each other for years. And of course the topic of discussion and excitement MEETING SONARIKA .
Sia was nervous, Foru was super nervous, I was like going bla bla bla , Madu was quiet trying to keep her thoughts calm, which soon gave way to non stop chattering for the next two hours. Madu hubby[ram] patiently was getting down from the car to ask for directions, while girls did what we do best, [talked about Jallu]
Then after about 2 hours of traveling, [DIRECTIONS GIVEN BY SONA WERE PERFECT], we reached the DKDM sets half an hour before the given time.
We walked in since we were SONARIKA'S guests, so we were not stopped. We walked and tada we were in HIMVAN's PALACE.
The first impression was HOT HOT OH MY GOD, HOT. We were like in the middle of really hot set. And then we saw our PRINCESS.
She was in red and looking well like a PRINCESS.
WE watched as she gave her takes and said her dialogs and in between she kind of realized she was being stared at by 5 pairs of eyes. And she waved and we were like SHE WAVED. LOLZ
We were given chairs and asked to seated, we took permission to watch the shot, and stepped inside and realized the Adi yogi is sitting over there, and for a second ok milli second thought it was Mohit before we knew it was his BD, we anyways watched the shot being given, it was a crying kind of scene, and watched as sona applied glycerin and emoted till she felt she has given her best shot.
We went back to our seats and waited,
And then she walks in with a hiii.
OH MY GOD.
The Small screen does not do justice to her looks.
She looks every inch a princess.

Adoring, elegant and exquisite is what I felt wen I saw,
[ NO EXAGGERATION]
Gave her a bear hug as soon we met, no introduction was needed.
Introduced our group,
Thankfully none of us were tongue tied looking at her, and man can she talk lolz.
We settled down and well I could not help testing her cheeks out for reality purpose. They look like polished porcelain
She has no make up except for her eyes. The rosiness you see is real rosiness. No blush needed. Her make up people are the most happiest I think, since she needs no make up at all.
Sia then handed over the lovely bouquet of flowers, which was held so lovingly by the lovely flower herself.
She squealed when she saw the amount of chocolates, and squealed some more when she saw the Chocolate fudge and proceeded to eating it and she looked like a kid as wanted to speak and eat with a mouthful of fudge.
Then the turn of the book and booklets, she was almost quiet when she went through them, and every now and then there a OMG from her.
So much love so much love she was repeating,
Foru's hand made book was again met with a small clap and wooowww and words of appreciation.
And the happiness on her face was something I really cannot express here, .
Madu then handed over all the lovely handmade products for her face and hair and she carefully asked for explanations of the use of each and has promised she will be trying them out as soon as possible and will give a feed back.
Ram [ Madhu's hubby] has clicked pics of all her expressions will post them as soon as we get them.
She was called for a shot again.
We waited around for sometime.
And then we see two boys, one tall dark and handsome and one small and round
It was our turn to squeal
Rushiii, in unison and the poor guy was like whattt. He any ways turned back and waved, and moved in to give his shot.
We were again left on our own and watched quietly as the 3 kids gave their shots lolz.
Shot done we were able to sit down with Rushi Sadil and Sona for a lovely chat,
Felt as if we had known them for a long time.
Sadil and Rush both are spontaneous.
Laddoos were stuffed into his mouth, and he had a complaint that Ram was purposely not photographing because we wanted him to keep eating more laddoos.
He is the cutest, sweetest, plumpiest adorable kid I have seen.
And Rushi , wow he is a kid but what personality. And so down to earth, so open when talking.
We would have wanted to talk more but
LUNCH TIME
We moved to Sona vanity van from the sets. And What a relief to be in the cool interiors.
We met two people who are Sona's favorites.
Her mom and Muffin.
Saw her mom and realized from where she gets her looks. Beautiful mom and chumpkins champu Muffins.
And away from the sits, there was more chattering, with Sona wanting to know who all the messages were from.
Here I would love to tell each one of you that she recognized everyone of the persons who had sent in their message.
She even knew what their Twitter profile pictures were.
Some she knew by their IF profile names and cud connect them with their twitter profiles too.
She knew who makes siggy's and and VM.
She also thought we are really naughty and funny.
Her mom also was very interested in know who was who.
Well she also wanted to who was the Vippassana one [ which is me ]
While we were looking through the books, muffin walked around our legs, and generally decided to examine everyones toes, Sia was like Nooo, don't come near lolz
Madu and Me wanted to adopt her, since we cannot, we held her in our arms, and felt absolutely fantastic when she nuzzled her head and went off to sleep.
We discussed about the Forum, about DKDM and her food habits [ she loves chicken and eggs, no other non veg stuff] .
Her mom gets home made food for her,
We had roti, dal, sabzi and rice. Which was delicious.
There was knock and someone puts his head in and says Parvati mata.
And it took us a second to realize who it was, and we chorused NAAANDI
The guy got a shock.
But obliged us and came and took a couple of pics.
And on behalf of the ENTIRE FORUM told him he was THE MOST LOVED CHARACTER AND THAT ALL OF US WERE MISSING HIM.
He said he was back now and will be there till Mata parvati needs him .
He does address her as Mata paravati.
He had actually come to the van to meet Muffin.
He is so handsome and very tall too, don't know why I always had felt he is short!!
He is in reall as much lovable as his Nandi roop on screen.
She soon got down to flipping through the pictures, and she autographed a few of them.
She was Maha curious about the questionnaire I had in my hand, but her mom tactfully gave it to us.
Lunch done, few more pics were taken inside her van,
Her make up person came to help her with her change of costume and touch up.
We left the van to wander and wonder around the sets.
We went to what looked like the Kashi streets, we had a few villagers running around, we were hoping they might give us a costume and allow us to join the gang, but to our utter disappointment we were not . Hehehe.
It was blazing outside so we decided to walk in again.
We found ourselves in Himvan main darbar / Daksh Main darbar / sati yagna immolation scene / many other scenes.
For each of the scnes, the set director changes it around.
It is huuuge. Talll pillars on all the sides, huge walls, stands for real diyas etc.
We walked out through a massive door and we found ourselves in the back yard of HImvan/Daksh palace.
Remember the scene were Parvati talks to Mahadev after his Nata dance.
That is were we were, it is a really small place with rock like things made with plaster of paris I think.
There was also a rock like structure, the one on which Mahadev sits,
We girls decided to pose on it.
We also spoke to the guys who were bringing various parts of the sets and enquired about Mohit.
We got really nice answers, no one was rude or abrupt,
In fact we felt that the guy could have been given a role in DKDM, he was so funny.
[ I do not mean DKDM is funny, don't mis-intrepret ] hehehe
We got to watch the set for Vrinda/jalu wedding being put up.
The Sets creative guys Mr. Manoj and Vinod were so happy that we spoke to them, they were like no one ever really comes on the sets and appreciates us.
But friends, these are the people who give us the illusion of grandeur wen we watch DKDM, if not for them Kailash, Him palace or Dkash palace would not have existed.
These guys work in terrible conditions of heat, since most it is under a patra[not sure what it is in English]
Extreme heat right now, and moving such huge pieces around, wow,
I WILL THINK A 1000 TIMES BEFORE I WILL EVER CRITICISE A SET .
THEY said it takes about 2 hours for them to put up a set, [the scene will be for 2 minutes]
They were so obliging inspite of the fact that they were in the middle of creating the scene.
We also found a spear and decided to do sometime acting ourselves.
Ram was really sweet taking pics of us girls doing really dumb things,
We then moved back to the room were sona was shooting.
We met and spoke to Minavati and Himvan.
Mina is gorgeous looking, spoke really sweetly and introduced us to her second son.
Pankaj Dheer exudes personality . He is larger than life kind of guy.
Just standing there, he was like filling up the room, his voice so deep, powerful.
I told him we loved him as Karn and he said he was honoured to hear that.
We waited for Mata Parvati to finish her shot.
She had changed into her green outfit. We all went eee green again, but she looked lovely so it was ok .
We also got to see the daughter father Vibes, it felt as if were seeing a real father and daughter, so loving was Pankaj with sona, and sona pouting and complaining about something to him.
It was so adorable to watch them together.
Eventually we got down to asking her several questions, she has given me the permission to post the answers
