Injustice At The ITA

Hi guys.

I was looking through the forum and my eye caught an article written by Vicky Lalwani saying that Rajeev Khandelwal didn't attend the Indian Telly awards because he already knew that he didn't have many chances of winning the best actor award.

I do agree with him. However, I believe that Rajeev didn't attend the award ceremony because he knew that injustice would be done upon him plus many others and not because he was afraid of the humiliation that he had to face.

I think that he already knew that Ekta Kapoor's actors would win most of the awards and true enough it was Ekta's night.

So many actors who worked under her are so famous and undoubtedly Rajeev is also very popular amongst many people because of Ekta.

I not sure, but if Ekta didn't cast Rajeev in KTH maybe he wouldn't be as popular as he is now. Moreover, maybe if Rajeev didn't leave kth, he might have won the best actor award along with Ammna for Kth.

It's not that Ram Kapoor didn't do good acting for Kasamh Se but Rajeev Khandelwal truly dissevered the best actor award compared to him.

The ITA was crap and very disheartening to watch, furthermore it is very sad that so many talents went to waste just because of Ekta's popularity.

yes you are right... I enjoyed only performances of stars rest all were a time-waste award distributions... none deserved that except a few

I totally agree...they were really unfair with the awards.

I agree with you somewhat that Rajeev deserved the best actor award and that the awards were unfair but we know that awards are most of the time rigged and unfair.....im very much proud of Rajeev for not attending the awards 👏

well yup! i didnt liked the show at all it was beoing even the performances werent tht many ............last yr it was gooooooooooood
plus rajeev wasnt there tu dkehna ka maann he nahi tha..........
they kept showing aamna coz i guess hse was the main lead who came ..................other peeple like kyunki khaani and otehr shows none of them came.................she looked reaali pretty............but was looking gorgoeus.....though the saree wasa bit heavy likin h looked .... 😳 😳 😳 i misssssssssed rajeev so much....i guess we all did 😭 😭

even i agree the awards were very unfair..... places where i felt partiality was done are:
best newcomer male: lakshya of kyunki saa bhi kabhi bahu thi..... but i think alekh is a much better actor that him.
best newcomer female: saloni of saath phere and bani of kasam se..... bani is nowhere near saloni in acting... they put bani only to appease ekta.
best show: kasam se.... come on that show has become so boring and many people dont even watch it anymore....

so to please ekta many unfair awards were given

To Nailaqureshi, there's no need to get so aggresive. I was only expressing my feelings and views.

I agree that Rajeev is also popular because of his great efforts and awesome acting. However, people still remember him as Sujal which is made by Ekta.

Guess it all depends on the popularity of the serial. If I had made my first appearance in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, I would have registered with the audiences faster. My cameo was in Sony's Kya Haadsa Kya Haqeeqat. Today, this show is doing well - but I shot for the initial thriller episodes, the inaugural series. It was a great experience. I shared the frame with some great artistes like Rohini Hattangadi and Smriti Malhotra. My first shot was with Smriti. Mind you, I didn't goof up (laughs).

See, even Rajeev agrees that the popularity of a serial plays a part in the actor's popularity.
