I do not understand that how could a mother hate her own son so much that she would behave so cruelly with him? Is she his stepmother? If not then why does'nt she consider him as her son? And that too without any reason!!!!!
Jab tak hai Donna's stories tab tak mei hoon zinda...( too comical, na?) bt u get the hint.

Changing Tide
As the tasting of the King's food began, the maids spotted an uninvited guest lurking in the corner. It was mother queen: Radha Rani.
"Jai ho Ranima", the trembling servants dropped everything to bow down to the proud prick of a mistress.
"Good morning Ranima. What bring you here at the wake of the hour".
Madhubala eyes did more than respectfully greet the witch, she scanned for a sign of poison. A pill, a pinch of something foreign, a stained finger? She found nothing but, Madhubala could risk her life or husband's at the hands of a woman who had killed before.
"I don't stab from the back", the quick witted Radha spotted her rookie daughter in law doing the swat screen.
"When I want to kill a lizard, I cut open the spleen".
Just so we all know, lizards do not have spleens but who dare argue with the high and mighty blondie.
"No need to explain yourself", she continued, pointing her finger directly at a distressed queen. "I understand you are concerned for his safety, as you should be. My son has, in fact, been in danger before".
She seated herself in the Madhubala's chair, one leg up Rishabh's side of the table.
"I don't try, I do. I will do it real soon and my cards will be out in the open".
She clapped her hands an entourage was at her service to escort Radha Rani out.
Madhubala ordered the food be thrown away. A well intentioned maid fed some dry fruits to the birds, two of them fell off the tree branch within minutes.
"So much for being honest", chuckled the bystanders in disgust.
Madhubala called for a vet and an extra dozen of tasters. She would need all the help she could get. The staff were instructed to eat from the same bowl as the king.
"It is better you are diagnosed with a bacterial infection than die from ricin", she insisted when Rishabh made faces at the thought of eating the leftovers from the help.
"What if it is antibiotic resistant? I have heard lots of people have dormant diseases that cannot be cured. What if I give you an STD?"
"Did you have a sex ed class growing up? You sound like my 12 year old niece. STDs from sharing food, that would be a whopping first my lord".
"I forbid the queen from making fun the commander of the nation's armed forces". He straightened his peace medals with pride, trying hard to change the topic.
"I give the leader my word. I shall represent the kingdom with sovereignty and immunity to pressure. Kindly bless me with the strength to address the needs of our people at a world stage".
She bent down awkwardly as the cameras clicked away.
"I thought we were past this stage", he pulled in to a sudden embrace giving the reporters yet another royal headline.
The queen took her leave for the UN conference taking her apprehensions, fears and affection of the public with her. Countless citizens waived goodbye to their beloved leader with tears of pride.
Back at the home front, the game had only begun. Like mother, like son. Their cunning plans were taking danger forms. As the hired snipers perfected the aim of their silly poison darts, the king was confined to his steel chambers. The queen's spreading of targeted gossip had caused distress among the people. The king was forced to give out periodic statements detailing the financial stability of the regime at a time it was best kept a secret.
