'Ek Ghar Banaunga' a New Show on Star Plus

Star Plus is gearing up to launch a new show 'Ek Ghar Banaunga' starting from 29th April at 6:30 p.m. The show is different from the genre of the serials being aired currently as the show focuses on the relationship between son-in-law and his wife's family. The show features two new comers Ishita Dutta and Rahul Sharma who will essay the role of characters Poonam and Akash respectively.

The story revolves around problems of a son-less nuclear family and the ftae of the family members after their daughter is married off . The storyline starts with Poonam and Akash who get married to each other despite their share of differences. Then the story focuses on what happens to Poonam's family who don't have son. In an Indian society where daughter-in-laws are expected to become daughter of the family, is it possible for a son-in-law to act as a son for his wife's family?
