I think she actually meant the following:
I am not a trained dancer but have been watching people dance in movies for as long as I can remember. Therefore I do know certain things in dance such as when people fall out of rhythm, etc. What enticed me to become a judge in NB was that I have been unemployed for quite some time, and my husband is tired of doing small roles here and there. There was a time when I was in huge demand - I was a VJ, and also did an item number with SRK. I was also in a music video with Jas Arora. Now, people have forgotten me because of the new models that have become popular. Their clothes are also getting shorter, and I have to show people what I have, and remind them of my assets in each episode. This was my only chance to show off my legs, my only saving grace, and my only hope of employment. Being a judge at NB is like being a model - I can be my natural catty self and claw the women folk, and get their hubbies to work hard to impress me with their dance. Arbaaz and I have been married for so long that I don't get as much attention anymore. This way I get lots of attention from the guys on the show. And hopefully being choreographed by Saroj and flirting with Kunal will get me a few roles here and there. Moreover, dance is something that I thoroughly love and enjoy. Its the best form of unwinding and relaxing, since I have never moved a muscle in my dances. I just bite my lower lip, raise my hand, poke my kamar out, and pretend to dance. That ada makes men go crazy.
Anyway, on a serious note, I have absolutely no problems with her hugging and light flirting. In fact, even Kunal does that sometimes. I also like her openness in expressing herself, and I think that she has a hot bod and should not hesitate in showing it. However, I also think that secretly she feels flattered when the women folk act possessive when she hugs their hubbies. When Sweta told her about Manav's getting nakchada because of Malaika, Malaika felt so flattered and said 'bolo, Sweta, bolo, kya karta hai woh.' And Malaika's desperation is a little obvious. Okay, you have poked your leg out of the dress once or twice, don't keep poking it. Have some class.
And a good dancer she is NOT - her dance on stage has been terrible, and till I saw that I always thought that she was a good dancer. I think she is also a little insecure because obviously people vie for Saroj's compliments more than hers. Please please please bring madhuri to judge - it would be so awesome to see Saroj and Madhuri together - an unbeatable couple.
By the way, have you guys noticed something amiss between the judges? They cut each other off, and contradict each other quite openly. For example, in the comedy round, when Saroj said that Sweta Tiwari did not deserve a 10, Malaika said to focus on the current jodi that had danced (Arjun-Gurdip). Also, when Saroj asked Keerti why they had changed their choreograher, Malaika said that its their personal problem. Something is amiss...
