Vidya is so talented and there are hardly any two opinions on that but is she the most talented post 2000 as she is termed to be- err! i think no! i feel there is one name who beats her in that area- its konkona sen sharma
vidya gave us some of the best performances ever seen by a female lead but i feel konkona has an edge in terms of versatility.
Vidya succeeded in drama but could not create the same magic in natural roles where as konkona nailed it all- be it
Drama - Omkara- (national award, filmfare award), Mr and Mrs Iyer (National award),
Reality - Page 3, Traffic Signal
Natural girl next door- Life in a metro (filmfare award), WUS, LCMD
or Comedy - Aditi kab jao ge, Dil kabaddi
she has succeeded in it all
though most of her movies are not commercial successes but she has won critics as well as audience hearts in all of them
I think this girl deserves some more credit!
i feel she is vidya's closest competitor in terms of acting- others are far behind!
