PART 7
After having lunch and a nap it was late evening and Geet decided to go for shopping as she has no ingredients to cook Indian. She asked Maan to stay in the house so that she could go shopping peacefully instead of keeping an eye on his actions but he insisted to go with her. So having no other option Geet took him with her.

They both reached the mall and Geet took him to the supermarket. Maan was looking at everything amused. He was paying no attention to the surroundings that he knocked a box in the floor.

" sorry " Geet said to the lady who was giving Maan dangerous glare.

" dyaan se " Geet warned him
( careful )

Maan followed wherever Geet went to avoid further problems.

" hum yahan kyun aaye hai Geet ji ? " he asked
( why are we here Geet?)

" shopping" she said taking a trolley for them.

" ji? "

" humein kissi bhi cheez ki zaroorat hai toh yahan milegi " she said
( whatever we want we will find it here )

" kuch bhi ? " he asked
(anything)

" mostly " Geet nodded

" yeh kya hai ? " he asked looking at her picking flour packet
( what is this?)

"atta" she said
(wheat)

Maan nodded understandingly. The whole place was colorful and Maan liked being there. But what bothered him was how bad dressed people were. Looking at girls wearing revealing dresses made him ashamed. He was thankful that Geet was fully covered that no one gets to look at her.

" woh hara wala le lo " Geet pointed at 7up bottle but poor Maan's eyes fell only on the whi$per packet beside that.
( take that green thing)

" yeh? " he showed it to her making the girl shopping at the back giggle.
( this? )

Geet grabbed the packet and narrowed her eyes in anger. Maan made a baby face. He did what she said and here she was angry.

" woh wala " she pointed at the bottle and Maan grabbed it.
( that one)

" yeh nahi chaiye? " he asked pointing at the packet " main wahan rakloon? "
( you don't want this? ) ( i ll keep it there?)

" nahi woh bhi chaiye ..." Geet trailed off
( no, i want that as well )

" ohh... kya hai woh? " he asked
( what is that? )

Geet didn't know how to react. Should she be shocked or embarrassed. She was giggling and blushing internally thinking his question.

" tum zyada sawal mat pooch " Geet warned
( don't ask many questions)

Maan frowned when he saw a guy looking at Geet. He moved beside her as if protecting her from the stranger's eyes.

" kya kar rahe ho? " Geet asked as he was blocking his way
( what are you doing? )

" kuch nahi " Maan nodded
( nothing)

" Geet? " she heard someone call her and she peeked from Maan's shoulder.

" Asif? Hay what a surprise!! " she moved from Maan to greet her friend

Maan's face fell seeing her talk to the stranger ignoring him and top of it hugging him.

" what are you doing here abandoning you expecting wife ? i thought she is due next week " she said

" yes i m actually shopping highness's necessities " asif said

" good then . else i should have wasted a call to complain about you " Geet laughed.

" so what is it you haven't filled me with? " asif asked looking at Maan

" oh this is Maan, my boyfriend " Geet lied very easily.

She could have told Maan was just a friend. Come on its Asif , he is like her brother and not going to judge her. But still the lie came so efficiently that it felt like truth to herself.

" Maan yeh asif mera dost " Geet said
( Maan this is asif my friend )

Maan just nodded. He didn't want to greet him. He already hates this guy as he is giving him strange looks.

" wanna come home for dinner? " asif asked ignoring Maan and looking at Geet.

" only when your wife is ready prepare those delicious kabas." Geet said

" so ok then i ll rush before my dearest calls me again " asif said before walking back waving

Geet turned to look at Maan who was staring at Asif's direction.

" kya ? " Geet asked
( what? )

" hum ghar chalen? " he asked
( can we go home? )

" billing " Geet sighed

After billing and collecting chocolate and caremel crunch for her greedy self geer made her way to the parking.

" aap yeh kya kharahe hai? " Maan asked curiously
( what are you eating?)

" tum ab zyada comfortable hogaye ho aur zyada sawal bhi poochnelage ho" Geet said looking at him. Maan smiled shyly
( you have become more comfortable and you ask a lot of questions )

They entered the car and Maan carefully put on the seat belt. He smiled at Geet proudly.

" not bad Mr.Maanvendra. Aap bahut jaldi seekrahe ho " Geet said smiling making Maan's day.
(... you are a fast learner Mr.Maanvender)

Geet stopped at the counter to pay parking ticket and applied the hand break.

" woh ticket do " she pointed at the white sheet and Maan understood.
( give me the ticket)

He was about to pick that when it fell down. Maan tried to bend down but the seat belt prevented him. Geet was busy taking change from her purse that she didn't see him push the hand break instead of unbuckling. The car suddenly started to go back on the slope road and halted only when it hit the car at the back side. Geet was startled by the sudden action and in the action of trying to take things in control she hit her hand hard in the steering.

" aap teek toh hona? " Maan asked worried seeing Geet holding her palm and her eyes were closed in pain.
( are you ok?)

Geet with great difficulty got down from the car and Maan followed her. Unfortunately the bonnet of the car at the back was crashed and an angry driver walked out of the car.

" what the he!! Is wrong with you woman ? " he shouted making Geet jerk

Maan was looking at the surroundings cautiously. All of a sudden the whole attention was turned to them and people surrounded them.

" ghadi chalane nahi aati toh lekar kyun aate ho? " the man shouted at Geet whose eyes were teary now. The pain along with the humiliation wasn't helping her.
( if you don't know to drive then why do you bring your car)

Maan who understood the situation pushed Geet behind him protectively and faced the man.

"aap tameez se baat keejiye" Maan warned
( mind your language)

" who the h**k are you? Do you know what damage your girl has done to my car? Tum doge paise? " the man barked at Maan
(... will you pay?)

" deko abhi mera paisa settle kar " the man tried to take a step towards Geet ignoring Maan
( listen give me money)

Maan stopped the man holding his collar that made the crowd gasp.

" ab maroge muje? " the man challenged
( you are gonna hit me? )

" Maan chodo . don't create a scene " Geet held Maan's hand. But he didn't listen to what she was telling
( leave him Maan...)

Asif who looked at the crowd reached there and was shocked to see Geet.

" what happened ? " asif asked. Geet narrated to him crying.

Asif took his ID from his purse and showed it to the man.

" look i m a cop and i assure you that she will pay for every damage now don't create a scene" asif said.

The man was about to talk when asif gave him his typical Police look. That made the man go away cursing Geet.

" thanks asif " Geet said gratefully

" take a cab. I ll send my men to take care of the car and settle issues with that jerk " asif said.

Geet nodded. Now asif turned to Maan.

" angry young man " asif sighed " gussa kam kar. Now take her to hospital " he added
( control your anger)

Geet and Maan took a cab and went to the hospital. Doctor said that her right hand was sprained and suggested some medicines with wrist bad for three days.

" humein maaf kardeejiye Geet ji " Maan said once they were in the cab returning to her house.
( forgive me)

" koi baat nahi " Geet said but Maan knew she didn't mean it because she didn't look into his eyes while saying that.
( thats ok)

Geet turned to the window looking at the black sky. She was having difficulty keeping her eyes open due to the injection and so she passed out. Maan looked at her hand that was now covered with wrist band. It hurt him to look at her like that. he knew it was his mistake. From morning she was trying everything possible to help him and he did nothing but trouble her. He felt guilty. He took her hand in his while his other hand supported her head. He ignored the way his body reacted having her so close and concentrated on her comfort.

They reached her house and Maan wouldn't have woke her if it wasn't for opening the door. Geet was still tired. Maan made her sit on the couch and went to get some water for her. But when he returned she was already sleeping.

He decided to leave her there but when he realized she was uncomfortable there and hurting her hand trying to fit in the couch she couldn't help but carry her like a doll to her room. He placed her on her bed and knelt down.

" humein maaf kardijiye Geet ji. Hum aapko khush karnekeliye kuch zaroor karenge " he promised
( forgive me Geet. I ll do something to make you happy

maan asking her wats this..lol..

she is all sharanmse pani pani..when all giggled..

maan not liking asif..

uff bad move..hand break remove kardi..

n geets car hit next..

n she got sprain in hand..

in al this one thing happened..

maan did not hesitate to lift geet

n think it as sin like he said before..

i will love to see him taking care of geet n making her happy..

hmm..he may try cooking n cleaning house..like that..in funny way..

wow! Starting was hilarious..
i m loving ds maan a lot.. he wanted to help geet badly, but he can't do anything and is feeling like a lost baby..

Poor Geet has hurt her wrist
now really want to see how Maan Babu makes up for all the mess to Geet
Hope he doesn't create even bigger problems for her on the pretext of helping her
