Narayan did say that..K will not defeat Vritra..only Indra will..?? So what was K's purpose..?? That was confusing..!!

Only thing was..K actually brought life and real action in that so called war...

I think, since they want to show the 🤬 backstabbing character of Indra to all, Narayan asked K to fight. You know, so as to say, while K is engrossed in fighting, Indra can backstab and his useless character can be brought out. But as VRish pointed out, there was no Kartikeya and no backstabbing. indra did a completely fair fight. in fact it was the biggest war of Indra, I think, by the rig veda. Anyhoo, they are coming to the Jalandhar-knows-more-about-Mahadev-and-wants-to-defeat-him-and-become-dkd track, so mistake pardoned. So i hope the real JUST indra will also pardon them (Just as in, he is still useless, but not so characterless as to kill Vritra frm behind)

Good episode Indra did just like u expected him to a born coward and self centered stabbing from the back. Loved Karthikeya and Shukracharya when he described Mahadev to Jalandhar and likewise Karthik about J to Ganesh.
