Episode 254 Discussion: 24th April 2013

Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter. People just need to fall in a habit.
We can have it like breathers at first followed by analysis.
It also helps like-minded souls and pals bond and gel together to drop in their thoughts for themselves as breathers and for their friends as a peep into the episode and for others to post their reviews.
And those from different time-zones, who do not get to watch the episode at this time of telecast (Indian 8:30 PM), without any worry to trace or keep track of all their buddy's posts, they can come here, read with leisure and later post their analysis after watching it from their Time zones.

Extremist thoughts and moralizing thoughts are not welcome over this thread. It is entertainment show we are watching. The channel calls their programs as entertainment and we are watching the show. Discussions are welcome in light hearted and in realistic manner. Moral policing is not appreciated. We do not want to feel stifled into that kind of atmosphere here.

There are several other social welfare sites that are there to discuss the genuine issues. If for some reason, it is felt that social concerns have to be addressed and ethical and moral responsibility needs to be exercised for watching entertainment, then; certainly the forum is an open place to create separate ATs and build up that kind of propaganda.

Please heed to this as direct request and conditional requirement to participate in this thread. Strong words such as psychopaths unless used in show, need not be used to instigate riotous atmosphere or start sermonizing.

POINTERS for Writing/Posting of your reviews and thoughts over this EDT

Do not litter the thread with chit-chat conversations. A little is permitted to have the friendly atmosphere, but when you feel like chatting more, it is desired you take your conversation with your buddies to alternate venues like chat clubs, pm mode etc.
Quoting Policy: It is desired that people refrain from single, double, triple and multiple quoting of posts on a repetitive basis. They can pick out the parts that they like to quote as opposed to quoting the entire post. It is often seen that we have to scroll through the pages when all they have done is quoting and more quoting with one line response to the actual post. IF has a rule that more than three times quoting is not allowed. But nowadays as people read IF posts over phone, it is preferred that people do not quote longer posts and just extract the portions of the post that they like to respond to and if they still find it relevant to their thought process then get the entire quoted text.
Regulate the font size. Keep remembering that. It is really not pleasing to see big bolded letters for no special reason.
The thread becomes a mess when you give your review and do not REST for sometime until others have posted. Please understand, respites or reviews; once or twice are good for few pages...don't make a regular chat thread with your reiterating/whining/complaining on the same point. For the online readers, the thread becomes unpleasant read. There is a separate Complaints thread in Main Forum.
When episodic content is emotional, take a deep breath, give a good lengthy review; that acts as your vent in one single post...and make an exit to calm down your nerves if you still are possessed by only what you've seen.

Episode 254 Discussion - EOD summary

Of RK's Dream Vs Reality-completed, More lessons to RK from his Saasuma and Madhu disowned by her mother, RK's Reassurance to Madhu, Madhu goes to meet Sultan to apologize

Events of the Episode

Padmini tells Madhu that it RK who destroyed your life and humiliated before the entire world. And RK answers that Yes, he did all those things but Madhu came back because Love is Great enough to overlook all that.
Padmini talks to Madhu and tells that she will not accept her decision either as a mother or a woman. She disowns Madhu as her daughter. When Madhu looks all shocked and says "Maa", Padmini requests Madhu to never call her as Maa. [RK is greatly affected here] Padmini informs Madhu that she is ashamed to hear Madhu calling her as her mother as she is not the daughter whom Padmini gave birth to. Her daughter was one who fought for right and wrong, for her love but not at the cost of forgetting her self-respect. [ RK looks affected. ] Padmini also tells Madhu that Mother is higher than Love. That she is used to be proud of her daughter and forever wanted to take pride on her but now she cannot. According to her, Madhu is giving away herself to RK, who doesn't even love her and for whom Madhu is not a human being but just his demand ( like children demand for game, toys). Padmini explains that getting awashed in love is different from getting sold in love. Padmini leaves, Madhu runs to their room and RK follows her. Dips-Sikky wonder about what 's all going on.
Back in their room, RK reassures Madhu that mother and child relationship is not weak, that saasuma is just unhappy with the past. If Madhu has made him understand, then very soony soon Madhu will have very soon a mother who will understand her. While consoling Madhu, RK gets defensive and tries to tell Madhu that they both are different, and they cannot stay apart from each other, and that he cannot see Madhu with anyone else and this different craziness (paagalpan and dewaangi) has to be understood by Saasuma. This is not just her love, this is their breath, their heartbeat of, our life. And likewise your mom's love is also as true as our love. The umblical cord is the first relationship of the child with his mother and this first love and first relationship never ends.
Madhu keeps sobbing and RK gets unhinged again. He says he cannot tolerate anyone coming to his house and make his wife cry. He wants his Saasuma to ask for their forgiveness. But Madhu explains to RK that Padmini is on the right side and as mother she cannot accept their relationship.
Padmini is seeing Madhu as a fool to have gone back to RK-the Rakshas. She is with the viewers here. She is expressing her helplessness to her viewers that she cannot stop her daughter from committing this "bewaquoofi" as her daughter has grown older.
Madhu goes to Sultan's place to apologize. interesting dialogues from Madhu to Sultan, "Rishton ko Itni Achchi tarah se kaise Nibha lete ho ? and Sultan to Madhu, "Main aurton ko dhakka nahin deta, sambhalta hoon". They are out of nowhere dialogues.

"Pyar mein mit jaana aur pyar mein bik jaana alag hota hai" -- I guess it means that, for Padmini, Madhu sold of her self respect for love. Madhu was heart broken from the whole scene.

RK admits he can't live without Madhu. It was sweet to see him comfort Madhu. Usually, it was Madhu comforting RK and today it was the other way around. The only other time I can remember is when Madhu was upset after Malik's imprisonment and subsequent release. But him saying he'll kidnap Padmini and force her to apologize to Madhu was just . But the parting shot, that Madhu and RK will be together forever was off. Something was wrong with both of their expressions in that scene.

Padmini's reactions was awesome in the part after she returned from the chawl. She fell apart completely with worry and frustration and hopelessness. Maybe a bit OTT but I liked it nonetheless. And Trishna was as helpless in attempting to pacify her as always.

I can't believe Madhu went to meet Sultan. What happened to telling him not to interfere? Was that just a lie or something said in the spur of the moment? She tells she is fine in such an uncertain tone .. who will believe her? At least she asks him why he cares for her. I doubt he will tell her that he is falling in love with her though.

Precap -- that wasn't RK mansion. It seemed like the area outside of the studio. How does RK see it in his room?

P.S. Have they said what Sultan's wife's name is?

the RK madhu scene seemed so damn sugar-coated n fake...RK doesn't trust her that's for sure...madhu has a strategy we all know..

deepali "madhu chawl jaane ke badle room me!" really is she the only one whose character remains same n sane?👏👏

coming to padmini...oh god soo much melodrama!! sorry i cudnt stand it...OTT🥱

madhu comes to sultan !!!! WTH!! dis is too much!!

but seems like sultan is goin to butt in everywhere...dis i cant c!!! y cant madhu n rk solve things without sultan!!!!!?????😡

but i have a feeling another part n side of sultan's story is soon going to blow us!

today's episode was like bomb-blast...one bit here one bit there n other million wer wer...

today's episode was high on the discomfort factor! i didnt feel so horrible even during the unwedding!!!😲

rare episode...i was hating everyone except deepali!🤣

never thot i'l say this!!!

The way madhu asked sultan.. Kyun sultaaan?? Was like she wanted to hear from him.. Because I love you.. Disgusting..
I liked none of the scenes..
Padmini was screaming like a banshee.. Such an OTT scene.. I wanted to close my ears..
RK condoling madhu scene also was off.. Dialogues were so wrong.. RK has admitted so much more to mShu in his deranged state that what is the problem in saying I can't live without u?? Why give RK dialogues like u can't live without me and I can't see u with someone else... The cvs are twisting everything to suit their current useless track..
I was so sure madhu's kya hota agar holi chal jati response to RK 7 hours after he asked the question and some 10 hours after the incident was so false and today she proved it.. One doesn't need 7 hours to answer that question . The true answer the instant reflex to the event which was her caressing sultan's hand and making eyes at him..

Padmini was right all the way..I liked her acting today 👍🏼 spot on ! i concentrated on a few sentences.."tumne kaha tha tum is pyar ke liye ladogi PAR apni self respect ko bachakar"👏 that means Madhu still loves RK but the lesson which she's trying to teach him is very much needed...two, Padmini told Madhu that RK doesn't love her, she's his "zid"..well i agree to it bec. i'm not clear on what RK wants..but it's debatable since he's right about the junoon and saansein thing which he confessed to Madhu later..they cannot live with each other and they cannot live without each other ! thats the reality b/w them..

Dips getting suspicious 😆 yeah, in normal circumstance , Madhu wud have ran behind Padmini and not in her room..in normal circumstances, bahut kuch alag hota...like RK might have told Madhu that HE will manaofy saasu ma for his biwi 😆 but, dhanya dhanya RK, he said he'll kidnap saasu ma n make her apologize to biwi 🤣

anyhow, before my BP cud rise, she didn't ask for his help but apologize to him for what she said the other day...

"kaise rishte sambhal lete ho sultan?" 😃 haan babes, it's been only 1 week ke Sultan bhai rishte samajhne lage, thanks to your company. bec. before that, he didn't want to keep any rishta with his son , forget the duniya and duniya ki biwi's ! he didn't want Aryan to get attached to anyone and vice versa !

Madhu asking him the million dollar question..WHY Sultan, why would you interfere? why did you interfered in his affairs Madhu?🥱 ab kya woh i love you kahega, then only Madhu will understand ke uske dimag ka dahi kyun hua jaa raha hai?🤪

Precap, after this if RK will allow Madhu to fool him, usse bada fool koi nahi hoga..but in today's epi. it was clear ke Madhu is planning something n RK might be counter planning but as AY said, dance pe chance maar raha hai 🤣 and all of us too ! doing the same 😆 enjoy Rishbala together as long as they last..def. not forever and ever acc. to CV's plan.

Like Sikky and Dipali said: something smells fishy about all this. The whole talk of being with each other forever is frankly alarming to be, because I can't see it ending well at all. Guess I'm still waiting to see how this track actually plays out and if the CV's can fix this floundering mess.
Everyone knows I don't like Sultan, right? Well today cemented it. I'm not super happy with Madhu for going to him (why would you do that he's a gangster!) and I'm even more upset that he has the gall to tell her that he will always interfere. This is not because of societal expectations or anything. It's simply because I'm appalled at his stupidity!
He's a don, who is in the middle of a turf war, even if he is not acting like it. There is a super dangerous subordinate out for his blood who knows he has two weaknesses- Madhu and Aryan. And yet, Sultan seems to be thinking that he is out of the underworld and has become a stay at home dad with no complications. What the heck?!
Does he not realize that if he brings himself further into Madhu's life, hers will become 110% more complicated? What about the Alvida?

i second that 👍🏼 for the full 30 mins, i was watching it with a sad expression...bec. pehle we were doubtful whether Madhu is taking revenge but now it's confirmed so we know both or at least one is faking it .can we enjoy tomorrow's scene? at that time , it was bindiya chamkegi, ab "mar jaavan" ... marr gaye Rishbala fans CV's ki saazish se

Painful episode. Only characters in their senses are Sikky n Dips.

RK very doubtful personality...Seems he knows better than use and he also playing game with Madhu along with viewers.

Madhu confirmed suspect...don't what she is up to? Going to Bhai instead of Mai (mother)?? Whats that? and Why? Her priorities changed big time. And some where I suspect her interest too changed..
She is asking Bhai "Kyon Sultan"...why do you want to interfere in my matters? Can't she read his eyes n expressions? Or that she wanted to hear the diamond words 'Because I Love You' from him? WTH?

Paddo n Trishna...these ladies are gone insane...what a drama!

I don't know what to write from todays episode. Paddy is someone I always found to be OTT. And her repeated dialogues on giving birth to Madhu etc does not go well with me. Its as if she is asking for being paid back for the troubles she went thru to give birth I know she might be right in her thinking but somehow its very diff from my opinion of Moms always being selfless. And then to top it Madhu decides to meet Sultan instead of meeting her Mom. It really confused me regarding Madhu's priorities in life. Irrespective of what Madhu does to avenge we cannot criticize her really as RK brought this on himself. But then something is amiss. Might be the fact that I thought its a beauty and beast story where finally beauty's goodness will turn beast to this charming prince every girl dreams of. But here beauty seems to be getting beastly traits which I am not liking The story is getting way too twisted for my liking😕

Anyways few things I liked today was

1. RK's trying to make his biwi feel good. His dialogues were good today

2. Dips feeling that something is wrong. So guess that will avoid some heartbreaks in future as she will try and reveal the truth sooner

Absolutely hated

1. Madhu going to meet Sultan

2. Sultan telling he will keep in barging🤢
