I know why asad might have denied being engaged

Hey, i think i know why Asad might have denied being engaged to Zoya in front of everyone present in the house. As we all know that Asad values a lot about being in a relationship and that's why he refused to get engaged to Zoya, if you all notice, even then Zoya would have been deported but Asad still did not want to get engaged only for Zoya to stay. So, what i think is that, Asad lied only because of what Mr. whatever told asya in the airport that some girl has been calling him giving him information about the fake engagement, and the only people that knew about the engagement were the khan family and Tanveer, so Asad might want to find out about the mysterious lady calling Mr. whatever and so lied. He probably thought that she will call him again, informing him about the engagement being fake. I hope that's the reason behind this.

I actually had a similar thought! Better this than hating on him for being an a-hole.
