Pandit Jasraj inspires the contestants of Fame Gurukul in this Independence Day specia episode. The unparalleled doyen of classical music hoists the national flag at the Gurukul and the contestants sing the national anthem with him.
Accompanying him is his son Sharang Dev besides singer Jaspinder Narula to enlighten the contestants of Fame Gurukul about the importance of riyaz. He advises the Fame Gurukul contestants to pay great attention to riyaz as he, himself, still continues to do riyaz.
He ends his session by singing an alaap where, the talented Arijit Singh joins him. An impressed Pandit Jasraj then invites Arijit over to his place to witness his own 'Riyaz', which Panditji would have otherwise, never permitted.
