Madhu walk down the hallway, tears slipping from her eyes as the memories of him flood her mind...The only pain she feel is the pain that is in her heart... The pain of her entire world, crumbling right in front of her... Nothing makes that pain go away. No one ever could... Madhu cry out at the bitter realization...All that time, building up her confidence, convincing herself that RK loved her, goes down the drain... Every dream she had, ever plan she made disappears on the wind, a memory known to no one but Madhu... The bitterness of it all, the reality of the world, falls upon her shoulders and she stumble, unable to hold it all...
The memory, the pain, stays fresh in her mind, like a slap on her cheek... It stings, bringing tears to her eyes and pain in her entire being... What's worse is knowing that no matter what she does, things will always remain the same... Nothing will change, no matter how hard she wish it would...The tears fall with no hesitation now... Things fall into place... The disappearances, the lame excuses, the curious glances to no one in particular... At least, she thought it was no one... But, she had shrugged those off, thought nothing of them... They came and went, she refused to give them more than a second's thought... She saw what she wanted to see... But now she sees what she has too...
Madhu has no one to turn to... There is no one to comfort her, no one to lend a shoulder or understand her junoon and ishq... That person used to be him... She used to run to him with her troubles, rant to him, and he would nod his head in understanding... He would kiss her forehead, whisper that everything was going to be alright... And for some reason, she thought it would be... But she realizes that it never will be... BECAUSE...WOMAN , YOU MEAN NOTHING TO HIM..!!!
Even though madhu knows that nothing will ever matter anymore, there is one thing that she holds on to... HOPE... She knows never to give up hope, that hope is the only thing shecan rely on... She knows that it keeps her going through the hard times, keeps her strong through the tears and the pain... But then, deep down inside, she knows what everyone else refuses to admit...That there is no hope.. There never was any hope...
BECAUSE... For her mean nothing to him... BECAUSE ... BECAUSE...
Madhu sees him, running in the courtyard and her pulse quickens... He seems to be running towards her, but her heart knows better... She sees him, scooping up someone else... She sees him, kissing someone else... She sees him, setting her down, running his hands through her hair, and kissing her again... Madhu watch as the rain begins to fall and they seem to dance in it... The words she's been trying to fight off echo in her head... that ,...
