It looks like marriage may soon be on the cards for Bulgarian-born actress Nina Dobrev and her boyfriend and Vampire Diaries co-star Ian Somerhalder.
The charming and talented Dobrev finally summoned the courage to introduce her boyfriend of three years to her parents – Mihaela and Konstantin, 24 Hours daily reported.
Nina chose a very special holiday for the special event – March 31, when the Catholic world is celebrating Easter.
Reports say that Nina was extremely nervous before taking that important step and was seen smoking quite a few cigarettes before going into her parents' house.
A year ago Dobrev refuted media allegations that is about to get married to Ian Somerhalder, saying she is too young to tie the knot.
Born in Bulgaria, Nina Dobrev moved to Canada at the age of 2 and grew up in Toronto, Ontario. She began her career as a model.
The actress had parts in movies such as The Roommate, Degrassi: The Next Generation, and Degrassi Goes Hollywood She currently lives in Los Angeles, California and in Atlanta, Georgia, where "The Vampire Diaries" is filmed.
