The epsidoe starts with Alaka and Shantanu in their respective rooms lost in thought. While Alaka breaks down crying thinking about her past, present and future, Shan stares at the night sky. Their hearts are burdened with sorrow and unhappiness. Meera is very anxious in her room. She calls up someone and fixes a meeting. She quietly leaves the house and drives her way to a secluded house. she enters the house and looks all around for the person when she sees her Nani (played by Apara Mehta) sitting in a rocking chair. Both of them are overjoyed to see each other.
Nani asks Meera why she has asked her to come their in a hurry. Meera questions her straight about her Mother's relation with Shantanu Uncle and now that he is back in the Bharadwaj House, her Mother is very upset and Meera cant see her Mother in that state. Nani is shocked to know that Meera knows about this secret of the past and she advises Meera to stay away from all this, since she is bothered about the repercussions on Alaka, Shantanu and Meera if the truth comes out. Meera tells her that she is not afraid and earlier, the family trappings were there between Shan and Alaka as a result of which they had to give up their love, but this time they have Meera between them and she will try her utmost best to make this two start their lives again, especially when these two still love each other. Nani is shocked to hear Meera's words but she tells Meera that although she doesn't have that much courage as Meera to try and change things, yet she isn't a weakling either and that she will do everything to help Meera in this regard. She promised Meera that she would go to the Bharadwaj Mansion the next day for a few days, since the Katyaani Puja will be held, which is a must for every young, unmarried girl. Meera is overjoyed to hear this.
Back at the Bharadwaj House, Shlok is angry with Meera who is now avoiding him since she has got new freidns. He goes to Meera's room to complain to her but finds that Meera is not in the room. He is coming down the stairs when he meets Ammaji who asks him what he was dong so late in the house. Shlok tells her that he had gone to Meera's room but she is not there. Ammaji is very surprised and decides to find out about Meera's whereabouts. Shlok realizes that he has done a mistake and he immediately hurries towards Alaka's room to tell her everything. Alaka is very worried and she goes to Shantanu's room and tells him that Meera is missing. Shantanu asks her not to worry and that he would go and search for her.
Meera is trying to tiptoe her way back to her room when Ammaji stops her in her path. And asks her where she had gone so late at night. Meera stays quite. At that moment, Shan enters the house carrying Meera's side bag. He gives the bag to Meera and tells Ammaji that Meera had gone with him to see the Brahmakamal which could be seen only at night and that watching the flower is supposed to be auspicious. Ammaji tells Shan not to do anything like that in the future, since making a plan to wacth Brahmakamal without informing the family members, is actually inauspicious. After Ammaji leaves, Meera thanks Shan Uncle and asks him as to how did he know that Meera was not in the house? Shan tells her that Meera's Mother had told him about Meera' absence. Alaka had also come down at that time. Meera asks Shan and Alaka a question as to why instead of taking help from so many members in the house, Alaka had gone to Shan to inform him about her daughter's absence? Both Shan and Alaka stand perplexed as Meera walks away to her room. Shan comes near Alaka, who is standing like a statue, and tells her while it should have been them to asks Meera as to where she had gone so late at night, but Meera had asked them questions which they are unable to reply simply because there are no answers.
