You are not getting away with it!!

Kumud was pacing restlessly around her room, no the room which she used to occupy but which is now being used by the guest of the house. A guest who has started occupying not only her room but her mind and'heart ever since one fine day he has entered and completely disrupted her well organized life. The next day he has rejected her, caused so much grief to her parents and now that he would be leaving at any time, he has the guts to talk about "unknown n unnamed" feelings between them.

His words kept echoing in her head

' Why did you ask me to come? Why am I here despite saying no to you? Why are we being unable to let go of each other? Why? You and I can no longer ignore what is between us?

And all the time he was talking, Kumud could feel her heart drumming in her chest. But before she could utter a single word or ask for any clarification, he was gone' leaving her more bewildered than she was when it comes to this man, Saraswatichandra!! This man would make her completely mental one day for sure.

Kumud had no time to ponder or react on what he has just said and he was retreating and in couple of seconds he was out of her room leaving her completely flummoxed. For a fraction of second she really thought that those words were only the product of her imagination and stifled dreams. But it was not!! Kumud had tossed and turned in her bed all night, sleep evading her on that night.

She would confront him first thing in the morning she had thought but Mr Saraswatichandra had other plans. For two days he had been ignoring her after nearly confessing to her that he cared and felt for her.

So there she was in "his room" waiting for Mr BusyChandra pacing the room and talking to herself

' enough is enough!! I would not let you get away with it this time and your cold attitude towards me would not dampen my resolution'

And the door opened and there he was!!

I wanted to write a one-shot but it was getting too long. So i just stopped writing.😳 Dunno really how it shaped up so i'll just wait for ur responses to decide if i shud continue!!😳 Thanks for reading😳
