First time I am reading a very neutral analysis. Thank you for that! Everyone in here is either blindly for ArVi or for ArOvi and I am SO sick of this! Where is that strong, confident Arjun who made his own decisions? Why is he letting these two pea-headed women kick him around like this? Kissi ne daan me dedi to kissi ne wapas phek di!!!

It's high time he stops behaving like a prized piece of meat and be the man that he once was. I am so sick of the antics of these two sisters that at this point I wouldn't even mind if they bring in a fresh character as Arjun's love interest. A business associate or an old friend or even a nice nany, that finally treats him as the human being that he is and not an object to be pushed around. That should be the ultimate punishment for both these sisters, nobody gets to have him!! There I said it! It was bothering me for too long!

And someone did say it right, paraya khoon akhir paraya hota hain! Every time Ovi makes a mistake, everybody turns a blind eye to that! She behaves like a spoiled little brat loosing her doll every time things don't go according to her wishes and everyone starts fussing over her. Nobody EVER EVER lectures her or even blames her for any of her mistakes. So now, Ms.Ovi is deluded into thinking everything bad in her life is someone else's fault! Her Daddy is always there to FIX everything for her. On the other hand, no matter what "mahanta" act Purvi pulls (& I am not supporting that stupid martyr-who-plays-god in any way), in the end, every bad thing is HER fault! So hypocritical for the likes of Manav who were themselves "apne zamane ki big mahatma" people! Such BS!

BTW, I really think Onir is a very level headed guy so far. I just don't understand why he gave in to Purvi's latest "mahatmagiri" since he knew what the repercussions of this can be if this secret ever came out. He saw first hand how temperamental & irresponsible Ovi was. Did he really think she will take care of this child if & when she found out the truth?

Anyhow, thank you for sharing this and sorry if I hurt anyone. It is just too frustrating to watch PV now a days.

Dear Nowsheen ) a very pretty name),

I agree with you for the most part, and indeed I and a group of my young friends in the PAP (Protect Arjun Project), which I helped found in the old days, used to joke that he should run away from both these females. For Purvi, he came in at about No.11 in her priority list, while he thought the sun rose and set on her. No wonder that disaster struck.

However, it is also true that most of Arjun's problems are self-inflicted and rooted in his slavish devotion to Purvi. The strange thing is that the otherwise far more mature and, as you put it, balanced Onir too reacts exactly the same way. The woman has some unselfconscious witchery about her, and neither man is able to break free of her spell.

Another young friend calls Purvi a black widow spider. I would not go so far, but empirical evidence indicates that she brings trouble in her wake without fail. Let us see where Onir ends up! He is the sole bright spot in PR for me these days, and I would not want him to become roadkill.

Purvi's psyche is nothing that I can understand , ever.
So Ovi is blamed to be the culprit of her life , why does Purvi need to solve her problems ?
I don't understand why ?
Purvi should mind her own business

Archana, I have been a silent reader of many of your posts and have few times fondly recalled the friendly banter between you, Jhanvi and the rest on the laadla-laadli exchange. I would not attempt to justify Purvi (outside Jhanvi's posts ofcourse) as the new word on the steet is that being objective means that you only see things from one character's point of view. In that sense, I am not objective . I am an Arvi fan but I do see the point of view from other characters, may be not always but when there is a strong compelling reason for me to do so.

Majority of the forum have already condemned Purvi because she either supports onir or not act a 'gandhari' when a specific arjun comes in her vicinity or she distributes babies of hers freely to one and all as she gets a kick of being mahaan. She is the one who seem to please none. While I would not spend my energy elsewhere, I thought I should make an attempt for you, again not to justify Purvi's acts but just to explain how I understand her.

As we know Purvi does not often make right decisions and her "achilles heel" is her family. But when she makes a decision, she strongly believes in it. They decisions are the toughest for her but she has to stick to them. She has to steel herself, she cannot become weak emotionally, otherwise you see, her mission is a failure. This is what she did when she gave up Arjun and the same with Pari. While Purvi's reasons are uncommon (thank god!), her methods are not. We see such characteristics in people around us, either in corporates or families.

I am aware of, more than anyone else that being in this mess is not Pari's fault. It would be the easiest and the happiest decision for both the mother and daughter to be with each other from the day she was born but Purvi being Purvi, in trying to make a wrong right, has added further wrongs to herself and the innocent Pari. As the truth is out, Purvi's earlier attempt in making the wrong right is not complete and she cannot but pursue in the path with the hope that things will change.

And to be fair to her, in yesterday's episode, when Arjun tells her that Ovi does not want Pari, she becomes emotional for a sec and kisses the baby. But then the facade is back and she tells Arjun that eventually Ovi will come to accept the baby. We need to wait and see how the story develops further and what will she do if she is proven wrong regarding Ovi. But let us watch what happens then ..

Vasu, once again so simply and eloquently stated. I love the way you put things, not just the content but the non-confrontational manner in which you present your point of view. Hope we get to read more from you.
