what happen to that bow after sita's swayamvara ?

Dhanushadham is a historical and religious site, its reference dating back to the great Hindu epic Ramayana. It is believed to be the place where fell broken remains of the divine shiva bow that Ram broke to obtain Sita's hand for marriage.
A fossilized fragment of the broken piece is still believed to be seen and is worshipped by devotees.

Nearby is Janakpur, the capital of ancient Mithila culture, and famous as birthplace of Sita believed to be incarnation of Goddess Lakshmi of the Hindu mythology. It is also believed to be the place where lord Ram and Sita met for the first time, fell in love and were married to each other. A temple in janakpurdham known as JanakiTemple dedicated to Sita, is the prime attraction of this region.

One of the broken pieces of the dhanus broken by Ramapiran is still lying in Nepal near Janakpuri. The peice of dhanus has fossiled like rocks. But the wonder is tulasi plants have grown naturally on that fossil rocks. I have been to that place and worshipped. There is a huge tree with large hole on it. It is said by the locals that serpent lies in it and comes out on amavsya night shinning brightly. The fossil is around 15 metres long.

Shiva Dhanush was the divine bow of Lord Shiva gifted to King Janaka ancestor devraj.Lord shiva maded this bow with his power to kill tripura asuras,

Tarakasura had three asura sons named Vidyunmali, Tarakaksha and Viryavana (tripurasuras). These three began to perform tapasya. For a hundred years they meditated standing only on one leg. For a thousand more years they lived on air and meditated. They stood on their heads and meditated in this posture for yet another thousand years.

Brahma was pleased at this difficult tapasya. He appeared before them and said, What boon do you want? Make us immortal, answered Tarakasura's sons. I can't make you immortal, replied Brahma. I don't have the power. Ask for something else instead. Very well, then, said Viyunamali, Tarakaksha and Viryavana. Grant us the following: Let three forts be made. The first will be of gold, the second of silver and the third of iron. We will live in these forts for a thousand years. At the end of the thousand years, the forts will become one. This combined fort will be called Tripura. And if anyone can then destroy Tripura with only a single arrow that shall be the death destined for us.

Shiva agreed to destroy Tripura. Vishvakarma was the architect of the gods. Shiva called Vishvakarma and asked him to make a suitable chariot, bow and arrow. The chariot was made entirely out of gold. Brahma himself became the charioteer and the chariot was speedly driven towards Tripura. The gods accompanied Shiva with diverse weapons.

By then a thousand years had passed so that the three forts had become a single Tripura. Shiva installed a divine weapon known as pashupata into his arrow and shot it at Tripura. The arrow burnt up Tripura into ashes in a split second(three cities of the Asuras which were built of gold, silver and iron by Maya).

LORD SHIVA TOLD DEVAS THAT THIS BOW WAS SPECIALLY MADE FOR KILL THE TRIPURAS ONLY SO NO ONE CAN USE THIS BOW AFTER KILLING OF THE TRIPURAS,LORD SHIVA UNTIED THE BOW YARN AND GIVE TO AYODYA KING DEVARAJ.

LORD SHIVA TOLD DEVAS THAT IN FUTURE(TREDA YUGA)LORD VISHNU WILL TAKE INCARNATION AS RAMA,LAKSHMI WILL TAKE INCARNATION AS SITA,IN SITA SWAYAMVAR RAM WILL BROKE THIS BOW AND MARRY SITA

Lord ram prayed for grace of Lord Shiva, then he raised the bow with ease and thrust an arrow. As he bent the bow, it broke

why other princes can't hoist shiva Dhanush but sita, ram easily hoist the shiva Dhanush ?

Do you think the bow can not be taken by others because of its weight? no

This is because of fatigue and impure hearts of princes . The bow may sucking the prana of impure hearts. Sita and ram are not impure. This may be the reason.

Since you know it is part of this thread, it should have been posted in that thread instead of making seperate threads.
It's no where mentioned in IF COC or forum rules to use caps in case of explaining some parts in a text. This thread will be merged in Ramayan- broken dhanush thread.

Thanks,i know the meaning

"Caps Lock" (writhing with capital letters) for cogency, because that will be considered for "speaking loudly" (according to the "net-formality"). Such posts will be edited or removed

iam not sure about this matter may be you are right but i think in some foreign forums we can use caps lock to explain the important parts of the paragraph here after i dont use caps

Great post , I'm sharing the reason in elaborate for why only Sita and Ram can only break Shiv Dhanush...

Yah they were pure at heart no doubt about that :)

Reason :
Here it is not the weight of the bow (as you said) but their qualification in this aspect.'Virakti or a feeling of disgust with the things of this world and the next and purification of the mind i.e by dischargeing satisfactorily and disinterestedly the duties of his station in life.

Sita and Ram never desired for each other they just performed their duties as mentioned above and accepted the outcome of that wholeheartedly. They never wondered for the fruits of their actions.
Shiv and Shiv Dhanush signify these qualities. As king Janaka was 'Videha' means 'no bodily consciousness' the dhanush was presented to him,he proposed this test as his daughter posessed similar qualities and Ram qualified in the test as he was like Sita and made a perfect match.

Shiv,Seeradhwaj Janak,Sita and Ram are spiritually one entity though we see them in different forms.
