Yash mother is ranting about her son and almost threatening Vidya about getting her son out and also taunts him about his wife and daughter having hidden truth from him and hence him not being trustworthy.
Kumud comes to VC as Gunasundari is still contemplating what to do...she again tries to mano Vidya chatur and makes him remember about the anniversary the day after...but Vc is still upset and he walks away...Guna sundari gets upset and says that she is in the wrong, but how does she explain VC that for children, a woman has to go beyond being a wife. She tells Kumud to learn a lesson from her and never to hide anything from the one she loves...
Kumari and Saras are planning for the next day when they see VC walking off in a huff and Dukhba calling out telling him that he has worn two different chappals...she teases him that his wife would think that he has grown old...Kumud brings the right set of Chappals...VC wears it but says that his wife did not think him good enough to share her pains, why would he care what she thinks about him???
Saras hurries off behind VC who leaves the house in a huff...he tries to make VC sees sense that Guni is sad without him...and that there is a subtle difference between carrying off the duties and maintaining relations
everyone eating their breakfast when VC leaves for factory with Kumud running behind him to give him food. Though VC takes it, he doesn't say anything. Saras tells Kumud how she was successful in convincing VC even without his help. Kumud walks in the door and ends up hurting her foot when Saras seeing it comes there and checks her foot. Guman sees Saras checking Kumud's foot even after Kumud denying him to. Guman comes to Kumud as Saras leaves to go get the first aid box and tells her even after being so educated and practical why does she let Saras come close to her even after knowing the relationship has long been broken. Kumud answers her by saying that forgiving people is their strength.
Kumud comes in the house limping thinking about what Guman told her to keep Saras away from her when Saras comes there with first aid box but Kumud tells him to stay away and keep four feet distance from her forever. Saras asks her what happen but she just tells him to stay away. She tells him that a relationship is between two families and since our families already know that the relationship is broken so if you want to stay here we have to make them believe that we are as strange as we were when you first came. Saras accepts the challenge and tells himself how he is always going to keep the four feet distance.
Gunial tells Dukhba that now there is no suspicious that Saras is Saraswati's son when Dukhba tells her that soon Saras will make up for his mistake for rejecting the relationship. Saras comes to dining table where everyone is sitting for dinner. As he is about to leave Dukh ba calls him back and tells him to sit for dinner. Kumud is still thinking about what Guman told her to stay away from Saras when Dukhba tells her to sit as well but since the only seat empty is next to Saras, he makes an excuse of an important call and leaves from there. Kumud feels bad about it so starts taking food out for him.
Saras is in his room, Guman tells him to meet some agent. He asks her how she knows about that agent. She tells him I want to help and I'll do anything. He tells her I'll go tommorow but she tells him to go today.
Kumud and Saras both are leaving, they both collide, Saras steps back. Kumari asks them where they are going and they both say Market, she suggests them to leave together. Saras tells Kumud to leave first or else she'll blame him later.
Kumud and Saras both do their respective work. Kumud is buying bangles from the stand, Saras stops to look at her. Kumud catches him staring at her from the mirror. He points at the red bangle and smiles in way that he likes it. Kumud tells the shopkeeper to show another one and she wears the green bangle and he points out in way that the color is okay okay.
There is some commotion and people start running here and there. Kumud is being pushed, Saras comes and protects her, he tells her to go and hide in the storage.
At Kumud's place, DukhBaa inquires about Kumud and her mom tells her that she went to market so she'll be late. Gumaan adds in that Saras also went to the same market so they might come back together. Kumud's mom and DukhBaa are worried.
Kumud and Saras both hide inside the storage. Kumud is looking everywhere but him. Saras is hurt and he keeps on rubbing his arm. He sits down. Kumud drops her bangle box while sitting down and red bangles drop out of it. Saras comments on the color that it's nice, Kumud tries to make an excuse that she didn't choose this color. Saras is having a hard time trying to take his coat off, Kumud is watching him and she winces when he does. She gets water for him to clean his wound She keeps that water cooler a bit far (at chaar kadam ki duri) and throws water at him ( I couldn't stop laughing at their expressions haha) she gives him a cloth as well.
Everyone is worried at Kumud's place, Kumari tries to calm them down by telling them that she's sensible. VC blames himself for such a mistake.
Menawhile Saras tells Kumud that they might have to stay a bit more, Kumud is worried.Saras thinks to himself that this wouldn't have happened in Dubai. Kumud asks him if he's feeling homesick to which he tells her that I have lives alone all my life wherever I am. They start talking to eachother. Kumud tells him that she can't stay alone and He praises for being multi talented and doing so many things like helping her dad,teaching in school,drawing portraits especially the eyes. Kumud tells him to tell more about himself like he knows about her. She comments on his smile and his talking habit. She asks him about his girlfriend and whether he had one or not. He asks her about this 4 kadam Ki duri but she avoids talking about it and tells him to leave. He's trying to open the door but it's stuck and Kumud starts saying he shouldn't have closed it hardly. Saras gets angry and tells her that she shouldn't have told him to keep distance. Kumud comes to help him and he still keeps the distance, and they finally get out and smile at eachother
SaMud walking across a field type place and Kumud wonders how she would reach home at this pace ! Saras tries to pacify her but she worries about what her family would be thinking of her not having reached home yet.Then he tells her "Main hoon na " and she replies that her family would be more worried because he is there! Haww! She looks at him defiantly ! Then she picks up a stick and asks him to hold it and they start walking! But Saras lets go of the stick and tells her that all this is not necessary and that he is aware of how much distance to keepand Kumud goes and he follows ! Suddenly she takes some other turn and he asks her where she is off to ! And Kumud replies that she would go wherever she wants ,why should it matter to him! And he follows her in that direction! Soo cute!
Back at home,everyone is worried for Kumud since she had gone alone to the city ! Kumari remarks that Saras had also gone there only ! Just then Khotti Baat comes and taunts VC for giving so much freedom to Kumud that she can do whatever she wants and what would the villagers say if they see her roaming around an orphan like Saras! and DB remarks that they did not go together so it need not be that they are together only and even if she is together with him,it would not matter and it would not be Kumud's fault ! But Khotti Baat says that Kumud's fault would be that she is a woman and that it would harm Kumud's reputation and that Saras would leave but she would feel the repercussions later. DB shuts her up !
Just then Guman comes,pretending to be very tensed for the "children" as it was becoming very late! And she supports Khotti Baat that what she was saying was right
It is night and SaMud are riding in a cart ! Just then Kumud asks the cart driver to stop ! They get down and start walking the remainder distance ! It is windy.Saras remarks that the house is still far from their location and it would not be easy to walk it.Meanwhile VC and Guman,back in the Haveli,decide that he and Gyaan would go in search of Kumud in case she did not come back in ten minutes ! Guniyal prays to Lord Krishna to take care of Kumud.
Just then knocking is heard and SaMud enter !! Guman comes there and asks them, feigning innocence, if they were together and why were they so late and what would the villagers say if they had seen them and blah blah and what if they think that Kumud was trying to entice Saras! The nerves of this woman. Kumud tries to explain to her mother,but she slaps her !! Saras tries to speak out but VC asks Kumud to go inside! He prevents Saras from talking and tells him to go inside too ! Just then that woman asks Saras,feigning concern,as to how he got hurt ! He remains mum!
He goes to console Kumud but her sisters come and try to console her but she leaves.
More of Guman nonsense when she tells VC to forgive her son and that Kumud should have been more careful and all that when DB tells her that nothing so shocking has happened and that because of the storm they came home late and they trust SaMud to the maximum !!
VC tells Guman to just shut up and tells her that he had only shouted at her because he was worried for her and that he just wanted to see her safe and secure and that Guniyal had only slapped her because she was very worried since Kumud had left alone !! And he adds that they never questioned Kumud,she,Guman, was the one who questioned them,they were not angry with Kumud and they very well know that Kumud would always remain within limits !
And he adds that he was TOLERATING Guman only because she was his friend's wife and if she said anything more against his daughter,he will not think twice of EVEN SLAPPING HER !!!
Meanwhile Kumud is upset in her room,blaming herself for whatever that happened.She tries to light a lamp.She blames himself for calling him here and keeps reproaching herself.Just then Saras comes!! She has the lit match in her hand,which suddenly burns her and he comes towards her in concern when she stops him. He asks her if it burns and she replies yes,her heart has hurt a lot and not only her's but her family's ,why can't he keep a distance from her,why did he save her.. She adds that He had clearly stated in his letter that he did not believe in relationships,in marriage then why did he not leave,why did he still stay back !
Saras answers that that yes he had written the letter that he would not marry her ,then why did she call him here,why did she stop him when he was about to leave,he had told her once that if he doesn't leave now,he would NEVER BE ABLE TO LEAVE HER AGAIN.Then why did she still stop him! And he tells her that now,He has a question,why did she call him,why did he come,even if they did not have any relationship,then why were they concerned for each other !!
He adds that The more they try to move apart from each other,the more they come closer ,why do they fear coming close so much,neither she has the answer ,nor he!! But one thing is clear that between them there is SOMETHING which doesnt have a name nor identity but the feeling which they experience,neither can go away from it !!

Kumud completes the order to save her father's name. Saras talks to the agent to buy land close to the village for making a school. Kumud sees bangles. Saras sees her wearing bangles. She sees Saras in the mirror. O piya.. plays. He gives her signs that red bangles are good while standing there. Kumud says she did not like these bangles. She wears green bangles. He signs that it is not so good. She watches him in the mirror.

Saras and Kumud get into a rice shop. Kumud tells him thanks. Saras's hand gets hurt while closing the door.
Suddenly, Kumud's bangles falls, and Saras sees the red bangles. Saras says it is a good colour. Kumud says she did not tell this colour. Kumud says when will she reach home she does not know. Kumud sees Saras is hurt. She brings water and asks him to clean the wound. He says no its ok. She throws water on him from a distance. He says what are you doing. She says its over and smiles.
The dialogue of the week definitely goes to Saras for his dialogue in the Friday's episode - "Hum dono ke beech mein ek rishta hai jisse hum dono bhi jhutla nahi sakte"

Kumud is making the decorations. She keeps a stool and gets onto it. Saras watches her and asks if he can help her. He brings a chair for her. Music starts at this point.
She takes Saras's support to stand on the stool. Saras feels happy. She does the decorations and then gives her hand to step down.
