April 25, 2013

Penguin Day is celebrated twice a year. Whereas January 20th is Penguin Awareness Day, April 25th happens to be World Penguin Day!
Every year on this day, the Adelie Penguins in the Antarctic begin their migration northward.
Today happens to be the day we admire these flipper feet adorable animals of the cold south pole!
Along with that, we'd like to refer back to a previous thread called 'World Water Day' because of the glaciers that continue to melt in both Antarctica and the Arctic where the beautiful animals such as the penguin and Polar Bears reside! Save water, pollute less and let's reduce the impact of Global Warming.
