Should Madhubala settle?

Yes RK loves her dearly, he is deeply sorry and wants her to give him another chance. But is that ENOUGH? Should Madhubala settle for things that are OBVIOUS to everyone about RK, even if he does not SAY them? We all know RK has his own style, his own way of thinking. Bittuji said RK has a lot of weaknesses, but what if his weaknesses again drastically cut Madhubala out of his life again? When they stayed together for six MONTHS, Madhu fell in love with RK because she saw him for the person RK is, beyond his hard outer shell, he has a softer more vulnerable shell. She gave him her everything, and was completely vulnerable to him. BUT it took him kicking her out of his life to realize? No. It took him seeing Sultan with Madhu to realize his mistakes. How is Madhu supposed to trust RK this time?

Being a Madhu fan, I solely believe RK should verbalize his clear feelings. The cv's should give a RK breaking down scene where he tells Madhu clearly, not in his own style, but in a redemption sort of way. What Bittuji and Radhaji are saying sounds basically like Madhu should settle with what RK is saying, just because that's his way of saying it. But I think RK needs to put two steps forward, not just one, and really let Madhu know the way she deserves to hear it, without settling. Because let's be honest, he has made her suffer so much, the least he could do is openly tell her to give him another chance.

Madhu is one who tries to win someone over despite their "attitude"

RK's rudeness and insulting nature are just defense mechanisms he uses to block people out of his life; he did the same to his own mother for marrying another man. It's no excuse at all for his behaviour, but it's just how he deals with everything in his life. He's more of a tragic hero. A hero whose own worst enemy is himself.

Madhu once said she is not RK's psychiatrist. It was a brilliant line by the writer, because seeing a psychiatrist can help people like RK who use defense mechanisms, to deal with their feelings and circumstances in a more mature sense, instead of suppressing them and acting out. In essence, Madhu really was RK's personal psychiatrist because despite coming from a confusing, father-wanting to kill her past, she evolved and transformed quite beautifully. Madhu is a lover, she was born to love, she loves everything around her including her close set of people. RK is a destroyer, he's never been loved, the only love he felt was from his Father but he also blamed himself his entire life up uptill a few months ago for his death. RK never felt love from his mother, because he only felt betrayed. And the betrayal from the three people in his life; Father, Mother and Dipali, made him the person he is today. With that being said, it's no excuse, but people don't magically change from how they respond to people and circumstances. RK wanted to destroy Madhu, Madhu slowly sprinkled her rose coloured glasses all over RK's life. It affected him, changed him, forced him to grow and transform. BUT, Madhu fell in love with RK, RK the man with 1001 hidden vulnerabilities, RK the man who tried so hard to get everyone to hate him, because he was so full of hate himself.
