Swayam - Of broken dreams and a pained heart.

I wouldn't be saying anything new when I say that Swayam is undoubtedly one of the most beautifully and thoughtfully written characters in Indian Television.

Totally agreed.

There is so much positiveness,so much sensitivity and so much love poured into his character. I think the Creative Team spent some extra time on Swayam,because I'm sure from day 1 they knew that Swayam would emerge as a gem of a person,making the viewers smile,cry,laugh and love like him.😊

His perfection CANNOT be described in words. He's so perfect. I have never ever seen a guy like him.😳 Love him. :D

There has never been a truer friend than Swayam. The things he does to help his friends,to keep them happy,to keep them out of trouble,no one has done that in the show till date. And the amount of pain Swayam goes through,no one has gone though that either.

Again, without a doubt, it is true.

Off late,Swayam has been an epitome of strength and optimism for me. After being asked to step away from his lady love's life yet again,he still manages to make her smile,keep her happy,go to any lengths to make her feel comfortable. It is very hard to hold onto a hope even after facing so many heartbreaks but Swayam still does that and that's what makes him the ultimate example of a true and passionate lover. That's why almost everyone looks upto him for advises in matters of love.😊

This is the best part of your post. Swayam's magic is somewhat so deep and effective. Even if one tries to ignore him, he/she can't. Because he's just so awesome. The perfect lover boy. I really wish a boy like him existed. He can do anything just to see her smile. 😳

Swayam,like other sons,wants to keep his father happy,wants to prove to him that he is a good son. Though his dad never gave him an opportunity to show how much of an amazing son he is,Swayam still respects his dad,still feels hurt when his dad gives more attention to his friends and not to him,still feels pained when his dad doesn't even want to see his face at times. This shows that Swayam still loves his dad despite all the insults and harsh words his dad aims at him every time,despite knowing that his dad might not love him at all. Swayam still dreams of being his dad's ideal son,not by changing himself,but just by being accepted as he is.

Actually! This quality of his is really commendable. I mean, he's ultra tolerant. How can someone be so good? Still his papa doesn't seem to understand anything. He respects his dad in spite of getting hurt from him again and again.

The reason I made this topic was because Swayam made me cry today. It isn't the first time. But the reason why he made me cry today was different.

I actually cried. He did make me cry today. I felt so bad on seeing him hurt like that..😔

According to me,today he cried as a son being ignored,of not being loved,of not being considered important. Today he cried as a friend who always goes out of his way to make other happy but ends up being hurt in turn. Today he cried as a lover who loved with all his heart,yet never got loved in return. Today he cried because all of the pain he has subdued within him,hit him hard, after his father refused to even meet him for a few minutes.

What surprised me though,was how easily happy he looked in the precap while he danced with the gang again. This again shows how strong Swayam is emotionally,and how he can always mask his pain and sadness just to be with his friends and smile with them.😊

Oh yeah, he is extremely strong emotionally.

Swayam Shekhawat,continues to amuse me and inspire me with each passing episode. He continues to make me cry with him and feel his grief and heartaches. He continues to be the most amazing character in the show. I won't say I hope the CV's will keep his character that way in the future too because I know they will. Swayam is their prized possession, they would never hamper his character by making him weak,by making him hate anyone,making him feel jealous or wish bad for someone. Swayam will remain Swayam,the one person who wins tons of hearts everyday.😊

And I can't not mention that Swayam is Swayam because of Shantanu Maheshwari. 😊

The amount of perfection he adds to the character only makes it that much more lovable. Every single of emotion of Swayam's is always portrayed so flawlessly by Shantanu that one begins to believe that Shantanu and Swayam are two different souls,molded into the same body. Such is the way Shantanu has perfected Swayam. A thousand characters can change in the show,a thousand characters can be replaced but Swayam and Shantanu are irreplaceable,they are marked in our hearts and will stay with us for years to come.😊

Here's to Swayam-an ignored yet faithful son, a loyal friend who seldom gets his due, a true lover who still awaits love.

You said everything that every swayam and shantanu fan wants to say...completely agree with you...Shantanu performs so brilliantly that one can feel Swayams pain and what he is going through...I really felt sad for him and was almost going to cry for him...

You have said it all...I luved reading ur post..In D3 he is the only one who has bounded with all kinds of relationship (As a friend,Lover,Brother,Son etc...) and he is doing his job mindblowingly..
