His next show "Punar Vivahh" also not only get appreciation but also help in changing the views of society. He portrait the role of widower and father of two kids, in other sense a very mature role which is totally different from his old character that he played in above serial and need a lot of guts to accept such role in small screen at that age. He not only shut the mouth of critics by making his and arti Jodi more popular who win lots of the poll of rival site. Again different role.

If u watch out in 6-7 yr of his career, he portrait all different kind of role which is very rare for actors whose each show get appreciation, success and remarkable memories on viewers and they always want him in the serial.
