The pain behind that playfulness

Totally agree, every time he took 4 steps backwards, (when she first told him to keep his distance, from the dinner table, and when she was sleeping) I literally felt the gut-wrenching feeling. I posted it somewhere else too that the precap seems very playful where he drinks tea out of Kumud's cup exactly where she did but in a way its Saras' way of saying that "you can physically keep me away from you but you can't take away the 'closeness' we share." Drink away Saras!

well i dont much feel that way ...specially when he has himself rejected her ...so what he is getting is just what he deserves or say expects

he is taking things playfully well not actually his type , well may be cvs felt his character is being too depressive so make it lighter ,though i find less coordination ...anyways i am just loving it right now and have kept my logical minds and brains at one side lol

i am just getting what i want , a jolly jolly Saras and his nok jhok with Kumud...this had made the environment light and gay

will love if cvs continue such changes coz if they stick to original the show will sound boring to people like me who r more into light romance and humour then in serious philosophy and samajik kooritiyan

I think I'm even more confused than Saras dikra.. What are the CVs trying to show here? He rejected the proposal, I can understand that he feels a strong connection with her. But all this nok jhok with Kumud... poor girl! What does it imply to her? Why give her false sense of closeness when he doesnt mean (consciously at least) to marry her anyway. It will only mean more heartbreak for Kumud na? :(

i'm not gettin one thing...y no one is gettin that he 'll go away/...then how the story will pricede further...n one thing...obviously one n other dat he'll accept kumud...as initially in the promos...voiceover says...muqammal muhabbat ki adhoori daastaan..ab hogi poori..sirf star plus pr...think abt it...guys jaago...🤣

I interpret it as a conflict between the original Saras who has been hardened by what he has seen in life and the Saras whose been made more open, expressive and interactive due to exposure to the village where he spent his childhood, people who he was close to as a kid and this new attractive force, bundle of energy Kumud.

He cannot even resist her (neither can she as she also does keep coming around him - like she brought food for him) but cannot even get close to her.
The playful actions are not exactly playful on his part. He is doing it only because she's asked him to be away. Anyway, I sometimes feel he might have changed his decision too perhaps if Guman had not revealed it to everyone and made everyone feel again & again that Kumud's a reject. She kept reminding Saras of his original decision at a time when he had just begun to get swayed by Kumud.

So he's just confused. And there is pain as you rightly said, behind his perceived playfulness.

On a different note I think CVs are doing such stuff only to increase TRPs. I had earlier also pointed out that Saras holding Kumud's waist etc. was too contrary to what his character was originally supposed to be. His attempts to get close to her and those romantic, lovey dovey scenes (especially physical ones) even if we assume it's a conflict between his heart and brain...is not much convincing. They definitely seem to be making changes just to increase viewership.

I just hope the character does not get compromised and story doesn't get messed up just for sake of TRPs!
