Absolutely commendable post!
I am glad about the same fact and love SC exactly for the same reason that it shows the process of attraction and falling in love very naturally without those silly, OTT, done to death cliches on other shows!
I loathe those dupatta flying, endless eyelocks and heroine forever tripping to fall in hero's arms kind of scenes!! We've been subjected to those so many times now that it's not boring but plain irritating! 🤢
This is why I do not react to hair flying or other cliched romantic scenes at times shown in SC also. And I love the reflective moments with subtle actions, self introspection type dialogues and lot of unsaid things conveyed through gestures.
This "Tumhare liye main jo mehsoos karta hoon" dialogue was brilliant and it was good that Saras says it to himself during his casual talks to himself! He does not make it apparent or vocalise his feelings, he does not face this truth himself - to his outer self. But his inner self has fallen in love, subconsciously he has accepted he does feel for Kumud!
I love the realistic way a complicated, introverted character like Saras has been handled in this show. He has a tragic past, sometimes wears a veneer of bitterness or tries to look like he doesn't feel anything. But at heart he is really a softie and feels a lot for everyone.
Otherwise many other serials with so called hardened-tragedy heroes have no depth in the characters. Just statuesque guys who look like hotties and have nothing else to do except pin the heroine to walls or hold her when she is falling down.
SC team has handled the characters and their stories exceptionally well. It's something to be savoured and its effect lasts for a long time unlike other junk food serials which give only momentary sensuous pleasure to the viewer!
