"The uninteresting truth" is devastating to the family members and friends of the person who has committed suicide....
When someone commits suicide his family members and close friends feel in some way responsible for this extreme act of desperation...
Raj also feels this guilt very strongly... 😭

That hug we saw was a comfort hug between Raj and Naina...

Also the whole trigger business seemed inspired from the movie Fanaa...
