Mona Singh proposes to cut an pop album with Karan Oberoi

Not content with winning the dance based contest 'Jhalak Dikhhlaa Jaa' (Sony), actor-cum-RJ Mona Singh (ex-Jassi) is now set to record a pop-album with moral and technical support from her 'best buddy' singer Karan Oberoi of 'Band of Boys'.

Initially, Karan was tight-lipped about the album on their agenda but on coaxing, he says, "It's not because she is my 'good friend' but Mona has a fabulous voice and a cool rhythm sense. When we were casually jamming, she hummed the 'Har Pal Har Pal' (Lagey Raho Munnabhai). This was shown to TV audiences and she received a warm response from her fans who were curious to know whether she was a singer as well. When I heard her recorded songs, I was impressed with the texture of her voice."

"These days as an RJ, she is also connecting with her Radio-FM fans. My album is expected to be launched in February next year. But I know for sure that I won't let Mona back out from recording her album," discloses Karan.

But was Mona equally enthusiastic about her Karan's musical dream? "Yes more than me, it's Karan who wants me to cut an album. Though I am a tolerable singer, I love music. As they say, it's a natural sequence of 'naach-gaana' After my fans have seen me swinging, my fans should also get a 'jhalak' of my singing, naa," she chuckles.

You know, its great that she's cutting an album, but WHY did that dork have to help her do it?! 😡 🤢 😕 I mean that weirdo just won't leave her alone. Gaurav PLZ do something before this KO guy drops the bomb of their marriage on our heads! 🤢 🤢 🤢 I saw his Band of Boys music vid on B4U music on the weekend, that "mere neendh udgayi hai, mere chain kho gaya hai" song, and man was it cheezy! 😆 😆 It just makes me more irritated that he's being such a leech with regards to her life and now with her album!😡🤢
