I think Madhu is going through Stockholm Syndrome.

Stockholm Syndrome describes the behavior of kidnap victims who, over time, become sympathetic to their captors. The name derives from a 1973 hostage incident in Stockholm, Sweden. At the end of six days of captivity in a bank, several kidnap victims actually resisted rescue attempts, and afterwards refused to testify against their captors.

Captives begin to identify with their captors initially as a defensive mechanism, out of fear of violence. Small acts of kindness by the captor are magnified, since finding perspective in a hostage situation is by definition impossible. Rescue attempts are also seen as a threat, since it's likely the captive would be injured during such attempts..

In the beauty and beast story, The girl falls in love with his kidnapper.

I do not want CVs to show that Madhu is a weak peson and falls in love yet again with RK.

whoa accurately captured. 👏 And if we try to label them in the terms of violence DOMESTICALLY , the they also fall under the category of Mutual Violence Control- the 4th category of Johnson's types of domestic violence forms. She is sympathetic but unlike any victim , she is not passive. She bounces back. Power can only remain if the one being dominated remains PASSIVE.But she never was cause she always gave it back to him, thus the power relations between the two forms . And power becomes a ping pong ball bouncing from one side to the other. Madhu wanted to show RK his place by throwing him in jail..Power score: 1-0,,,RK made her tied in an incomplete marriage to dominate her in his world..power score? 1-1...Madhu tried to kill the mask of RK by refuting his belief in God..Power score seemingly? 2-1.To inflict power of RK , Madhu uses the tool of morals while he uses the tools of domination and revenge...In the end all of Madhus efforts in making RK believe in love distorts by the ultimate check mate of power relations..by RKs revenge..power score : 1000- 100...lol...and so on. Mahdu will rise against RK keeping her in the house...then lets see how the ping pong ball bounces back from her court ;)
