Mumbai - Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt will face a court verdict on Tuesday over charges he aided a series of bomb attacks in India's financial hub Mumbai in 1993 that killed 257 people, a court prosecutor said.
"The court will decide on Dutt's case on Tuesday (Tuesday)," the chief prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam told AFP on Monday.
The actor allegedly stashed an assault rifle on behalf of the bomb plotter.
But Dutt says he bought the weapon to protect his family and denied any role in the blasts.
Dutt spent 18 months in jail after his initial arrest on the charges and faces a sentence of as much as five years if convicted.
