The awards were a lot of fun!Ranbir is actually quite a good host, Anushka wasn't bad either. Boman was too good!

Abhishek performed first with local bhangra dancers--really good!, Katrina performed on Sheila, Chikni Chameli and Mashallah--she was awesome esp in Chikni Chameli part, Priyanka performed on different songs with theme being different roles of women as in shakti, pyaar and other stuff--she was amazing!!! Aishwarya performed next--she was good too but I wish she wore something in which we could see her feet since she was doing some kathak but we couldn't see properly. And, then SRK performed on quite a bit of his songs--crowd went wild and he was really really good!!

The awards part was okay--there were some surprises best critics award for best actress went to Deepika😲, and best music went to Ajay-Atul for Agneepath🥱.

Just watched all the performances... and I just saw an Akshay Kumar in Abhishek from the way he performed. So entertaining! Enjoyed watching him perform the most and then Kat :)

most of my family/friends enjoyed the show. according to most, pc was the show stealer.

ash looked gorgeous but hardly performed. srk too, not too much from him, maybe due to his injury.

oh well it was fun they said.

so I attended the TOIFA...good experience...

I didn't really put in a lot of efforts to meet the celebs..lol...just stood outside the hotel for 2 hours in the afternoon on 6th April ...there were people who would stand there every day from morning till night! craziness!

any way so in those 2 hours..I met/saw.. jimmy shergill, boman irani, manish malhotra, gauri khan, mugda ghodse, zarine khan, abbas-mustan, shreyas talpade, gauri shinde and balki...

have to say boman irani was the sweetest! he is such a fun loving guy...got a picture with him :) and everyone was saying.. (those who have been at the hotel for last 3-4 days) that boman was the friendliest celebrity...he was cracking jokes and having fun...oh and his son kayzo was also there with him...

the award ceremony was also good...I felt as if I have come to an Indian wedding...😆 people were wearing these heavy anarkalis, lehengas, sarees...what not...lol...

any way I also noticed that no ranbir...no priyanka or katrina come close to Shahrukh Khan when it comes to popularity among the NRIs...whenever SRK came on screen...there was this loudest cheer from the crowd...and almost 30-40% audience left the place after his performance was over... even though best actor and actress awards were still remaining 😆

Ranbir and Anushka imo were nothing great as hosts..especially Anushka..she was a bit OTT... just my opinion...

but overall good fun !

Lol u won't believe how crazy it was...people came straight from beauty salone to the award show 😆 hair all done...full make up...and these heavy Indian outfits...seriously it looked like a big fat punjabi wedding 😆 I was wearing a simple skirt and top and felt so out of place...haha...

I don't understand the point of dressing up so much for an award show..it's not like they were going to walk the red carpet you know? 😆

LMFAO I think those people misunderstood the concept clearly. They were not supposed to walk the red carpet that was for the celebrities only 😆

you are totally right it was just an award show not a wedding, prom or anything like that.
