Surely you and I have a very different definitions for manipulation. As per my definition "behaving sweetly even though you don't mean it to get the things done" is manipulation. But RK is showing his hard and rude side to the world and Madhu and keeping his soft side to himself . He is not showing his concern to even Madhu which is expected of him by many. In my opinion its pure stubbornness and force fullness from his side which is an RK's character trait from the beginning. He wants the things his way...and he gets them forcefully. And he is trying the same to get her love. He is more ignorant than manipulative. And after all he is not all lovey dovey and koochi kooo types from the beginning...

I agree infact i love his crazy antics but that was a moment i felt sad for madhu i mean it must have been disgusting to her .He doesnt even understand how broken she is rather he is happy that she cannot love anyone other than him.
