The whole show is revamped to give it a modish look. Since the emphasis is on X-factor this time the selection of judges reflect that. I miss maestro Javed Akhtar, Shankar Mahadevan and KK. The new judges are

Daler Mehndi

He has a good knowledge on classical as well as pop music.

Ganesh Hegde

I think his choice was to look for X-factor and dance moves. I am not sure if contestants will have to dance too this time.

Nikhil Chinappa

Since MTV is an active partner in Fame-X this time they have one from MTV as third judge.

I saw the first episode. Not really happy. Judges aren't impressive neither is the faculty.

OK i love Palaash soo I wont be able to say anything bad but he is sooo ENCOURAGING... 👏 👏 👏
The Judges I agree are not doing a great job. I guess Nikhil is there for the X-Factor (i still dont know what that is) and I guess he is doing ok for that. Daler paaji he is not doing a good job i think he either thinks the contestant is good or super good, iski alwah he doesnt comment on n e thing (well in the first epd), and GH i thought he would be tuff but again he comments on the X-factor which is mainly Nikhil's job in my pov!
Judges didnt really do any justice to their post!

Well noting like Fame 1...well this is just the begining we should wait for some more series and then decide...i see the participants do have an "X" somewhere or the other...atleast everybody are good singers...and good performaners...

do u honestly think that its a singing contest also with x factor..most of the contestants has only x factor no singing voice.......keya hai ye......purana fame gurukul hi accha tha.........ye kyea leke aia..gaana hai ya normal funny stage show

yea i agree..after watching fame gurukul, fame x seems like i'm watching some game show. I dont notice any seriousness in the judges and just overall show! trying to make it all youth-oriented, they really lost the original motive of the show!

i agree its more on x-factor this time, but singing shud also be a factor....and that too b4 the x-factor....

but seems like onli looks, energy, interaction with audience and performance on stage matter...singing is sidelined...

and watz this...."u have the sex factor", "u need to bring out that sexiness in ur appearance", "dont wear the jacket, show ur body..it suits this type of song"

its so crap i dont like anyone nikhil is buff but yeah looks apart dey appericiated d girl cus of her tatoo (wts d big deal? its jus a bloody tatoo) but didnt appericitae d girl who sang way better dan others jus cus she has a bit of flab.."u need to tone up a bit" i wa slike jeez comment on her bloody singin flab n looks can be improved any damn day not d singin!
n wats up wid daler telling d horrible ones dat dere voice is soooooo guuddd but not givin enuf appericiation to d ones who were actually singin gud!
judges r so stupid gosh! show is sucha disaster!
