Telly star Siddharth Shukla has got all it takes to make the women go weak in the knees. And, he knows it!
In fact, he's hoping to cash in on his good looks and charm, and give the Bollywood hunks a run for their money.
In an exclusive tte--tte with Emirates 24|7, Siddarth confessed to nurturing a Bollywood dream.
"I am just an executer and not a planner. A lot of things are not in my hand, so I am just preparing myself. When something comes up I'll be there," said Siddharth, hinting at being destined for Bollywood.
When asked about the kind of films he'd like to be a part of, the actor had a long list to share.
"I like power-packed movies like 'Dhoom 2', 'Sholay', 'Deewar', 'Dabangg 2' and the likes."
With his killer physique, there's no doubting he'd pack a punch in action thrillers.
He has already given a glimpse of his capabilities in 'Balika Vadhu', where he made a striking entry by rescuing his on-screen wife Anandi.
Siddharth plays Anandi's second husband 'Shiv' in the women-oriented telly serial.
"Shiv is the kind of character that I was confident I could play. He is pretty interesting, which is why I took the plunge."
Although Siddharth entered the show mid-way he was skeptical about how the audience would accept him.
"Those characters have been there for so long and have made a mark for themselves. So I did know that it would be tricky. I was more concerned about how people would accept me."
One year into the show, the Shiv-Anandi pair has won the hearts of many fans.
