I was just in a forum lately where I wrote a criticism and got awarded with personal attacks, not unlike here, though here the moderators took the time to see the issue. Basher, etc talking as usual. This is not an one-time only occurrence. And I am a long time viewer of that PH's shows too. In their other show's forum everyone was welcome to put positives, negatives, intelligent analysis. It really was a great, brilliant audience. Forums need to accepting of views. **I have spoken to the moderator about the moving of the topic and she has very kindly clarified for me** The moderators are always so professional.

I should also mention the Madhubala forum is very good at taking an opinion and behaving respectfully toward all its members. Only talking from my experience of it which has been limited. There are some really mature moderators there who deal with unruly commenters very quickly. And the members too disagree and take disagreements as they are meant. Respectfully and tolerantly.

Yes, we are all here because we like the show but of recent times I have been a lot of respectful arguments and opinions getting shut down here with personal attacks because someone or other is offended you disagreed with them. So can we decide if we are a forum or a fanclub? Can we agree that IF is where F stands for FORUM and agree to welcome everyone with different points of views?

Yes, we are in a public forum with 9 year olds and over-zealous fans personally attacking members for writing a criticism. But we have good mods. Can we try being more tolerant of people who write supposedly "negative" posts?

Well said 👏
Its true...this is a forum, if u wanna post bloopers or some opinions its totally acceptable...
its not a fanclub, where everyone is just looking at the positive things and ignoring mistakes made by cast...
totally agree with u 😃

Exactly. I am sure if you ask actors and crew they will also say they appreciate feedback of both kinds.

Well, I would like to know whether your displeasure is because you didn't get anyone hitting like on your post or people there actually discussed with valid points which you were not ready to agree?
I read your post there and except for one comment there was no personal attack and that comment has been removed the DTs within no time of posting it!
I guess it's all about acceptance rather than proving oneself to be right always!

This post is not about proving myself right. I have no issue with lack of likes on the post, if I worried about that why would I post something that I knew would be a criticism? Everyone is right in their own view, which is why it is called an opinion, no?

I also responded to people offering different views and we disagreed respectfully. Valid points can stand on both ends.

The posts I am talking about were removed by the forum and I have had a long discussion with the moderator about this matter. It never was an attack on the moderator but how the members of forum treats other members who post things that that are supposedly negative.

Are you angry? Why are you writing with exclamation marks? That post was not made here. I was asking the members here to be accepting, not of my views, but of everyone's. Yes, the example I used was personal. But we need to be accepting of everyone's views. Every member in a forum has equal right to voice an opinion.

chill friend..i think u are taking everything too seriously and logically..which isn't necessarily a bad thing
but this being a free forum people are going to discuss whatever they feel be it positive or negative .So naturally there are going to be agreements and disagreements...
But i guess that's the part of fun being in a forum..So take it with ease😊
Just speak your heart out about what you really feel about the show and don't give a damn about how others will receive it😎
we can't make everyone happy,right??😉
Sometimes discussions and bashing may get personnel but at the end of the day there are going to be a lot of people who values your opinion and that's what really matters..

I have noticed this trend in some of the forums I have visited... that any post or comment not siding with the majority or any opinions that express displeasure or criticism on any aspect of the show, get harsh comments... Words like 'basher' or suggestions like 'why dont you use the remote' get thrown at these opinions... not a peaceful atmosphere for good discussions. I guess it would help if forum members are more tolerant of other's opinions no matter how much we can't relate to those opinions. Agreeing/ disagreeing/ discussing in a civilized manner would help rather than throwing around unwanted angry remarks.
PS: I'm not targeting any particular forum or members in this post but this is just a general observation of mine from some of the forums I've visited...
PPS: Sometimes I too need to remind myself that people can have diff opinions from mine, and hence my signature line...😆
