Devon Ke Dev Mahadev: Neha Marda to play Brinda

The bubbly and vivacious Neha Marda who hasn't been seen on the television for quite some time is all set to hit the small screen yet again. Neha has grabbed yet another popular television show, Devon ke Dev Mahadev. Yes! After becoming a household name with her character Gehna in Colors' Balika Vadhu, the beautiful actress would now be seen in the much loved mythological show, Devon Ke Dev Mahadev that airs on Life Ok.

The news has been confirmed by Neha herself. She had been contacted by the production house to join in immediately and the actress gave a nod for the same without thinking twice. She is in fact quite excited about her new role. "Yes, I am doing the show. I am in fact going on the sets right now. I got a call from the production house yesterday night for this character and I am really looking forward to play the role", said the pretty actress.

Apparently, the present plot on Triangle Film Company's Devon Ke Dev Mahadev is already fetching immense popularity. The track basically focuses on Jalandar who is Lord Shiva's clone and his part of the story seems quite interesting. It is expected to get even more exciting with the introduction of Jalandar's lover, Vrinda which is to be played by Neha Marda. According to the sources, the show would soon focus on Jalandar and Vrinda's love story. They would even get married in the coming episodes.

The actress has been roped in owing to her popularity amongst the audience which is likely to benefit the show big time. Recently the news about Neha being signed for the role of Chinki in Pratigya 2 was also heard.
