Unnati dialled for a doctor and told them it was an emergency. She desribed the symptoms of the patient and they arranged for a lady doctor to be sent to the raj mahal. Unnati added that they have to be as discreet as possible and replaced the phone.
Manyata had gone deathly pale and looked like she had only seconds left. Unnati kept praying for a miracle continuously. She knew that panicking would repair nothing and if she kept on talking to her may be it would lessen her pain, even a little bit would be enough.
"Manyata tumhe yaad hai bachpan me hum saath me kya kya khel khelte the….ghar ghar khelte the hum…aur garden me titliyan pakadne jaate the…tum aur dada humesha saath rehte the aur main peeche reh jaati thi" Unnati kept on talking to her.
The doctor after hearing the symptoms had understood that it was a case of poisoning and she arrived with two of her assistants.

Udayveer felt he was walking on a cloud of thorns as he made an entry into the ground where Rajyabhishek was to take place.
Trumpets blowed and drums beat loudly as he entered. Rose petals were strewn on the whole aisle. The gathering looked in awe at his magnificent frame. DS applied teeka on his forehead and he touched her feet. His father standing beside DS motioned him to stand on the podium where he was to take his oath.
The Raj purohit started the oath taking ceremony and Udayveer repeated after him. Most of it went over his head but one thing didn't. Manyata had said it and now Raj purohit too. 'For a king his subjects come first, everything else is secondary"
Atlast the oath was over and he was seated on throne.
'Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown' Udayveer saw this proverb coming alive in front of him. Some one placed a crown on his head and there was loud noise all around. Victory cries were heard and whole atmosphere lit up with infectious happiness.
Jainandini stood there in all her finery decked up head to toe. 'Could she have a hand in this incident?' thought Uday.
Finally it was over and everyone came to greet the new king. "Jiju sa…badhai ho" J made an attempt to hug him and he backed off, drawing a glare from Akash. As the line of people passed him one by one, giving him blessings, congrats; he had no idea what they said to him but he had fixed a smile on his face.
He was surrounded by sea of humans but felt like the lonliest person in the world. All eyes were on him but he was oblivious to all that was happening around. His eyes searched the one who was not there.
He remembered her words as she lay there on her death bed "Tum mere pati hone se pehle is Jaigarh ke raj kumar ho" true sign of a Rajwadan; who would give up her life for a promise. It wasn't in him to break a promise made to HER.

The lady doctor examined Manyata and declared that there was no doubt that she had been poisoned. She administered her a dose of antidote immediately and asked her assistants to collect blood samples of the patient for more tests.
Unnati flinched as a needle was poked into Manyata's hand and blood was drawn. She was sure this was no accident. Somebody was out to spoil their happiness and they would be caught soon.
"ab inhe koi khatra nahi hai…maine injection de diya hai….zeher ka asar dheere dheere kam ho jaayega…shukar hai aapne waqt par mujhe phone kar diya warna inka bachna mushkil tha" the doctor said.
"yeh kya ho raha hai idhar? Aap koun hai?; Jiji…jiji aap ko kya hua hai?" a very confused looking Jainandini rushed in.
"jee..inhone zeher khaya tha par ab yeh theek hain" one of the doctor's assistants said before Unnati could stop her.
"Unnati, itna bada hadsa hua Jiji ke saath aur tumne gharwalon se yeh baat chupayi? Main ab sabko batati hoon" she said and bellowed enough to gather the whole house.
This incident drew different reactions from everyone and Komal fainted hearing it.
"Mere khayal se hume police ko khabar karni chahiye…hum use chodenge nahi jisne humare ghar ki shaanti bhang karne ki koshish ki hai, ek baar pata lag jaaye ki isme kiska haath hai phir toh…" Vanraj raised a fist.
"yeh kaam zaroor ghar ke kisi naukar ka hoga..aur koi nahi kar sakta hai yeh.." they continued guessing.

The most happiest day in life of Manveer had been ruined, once again. The person responsible for this was exultant and celebrated in full gusto. His plan was fully working and if only this last step worked, there would be no distance between him and Jaigarh's fortune. He knew that he would gain nothing by directly attacking Udayveer; he had hit where it would hurt the most, 'Manyata' one person whom Udayveer would die for.
There was a ring in the old jewelry which was actually a powerful weapon. It had a secret chamber where poison could be stored. When the wearer shook hands with enemy, its tiny needle would prick them and poison would be deposited onto their body. The ring was back in its place now and no one would doubt him.

"saab hume maaf kar deejiye…yeh zeher humne laaya tha…kisi ke kehne pe…galti ho gayi saab" The servant fell on Brijraj's feet and asked for forgiveness.
"Tumhe toh iski sazaa baad me milegi…par pehle yeh batao kisne mangvaya tha zeher? Jaldi batao.." brijraj held him by the collar.
"Woh..woh..inhone" he pointed towards Akash.
"Maine kuch nahi kiya…maine kisi se koi zeher nahi mangvaya…yeh jhoot bol raha hai, shayad yeh sab J ne kiya hoga" Akash started protesting and a heavy arm hit him.
Uday gave him a hard one and Akash hit him back. The fight turned ugly and within seconds both men were covered in bruises.
By the time the day ended it had been decided mutually that since Akash was responsible, he would be handed over to the police. Along with him J would go too. The two main hurdles in Yuddhaveer's path had been removed and he smiled an evil grin looking away.

Manyata remained inert whole day next day and the two most important people in her life had become permanent fixtures near her bed. Komal sat on one side and Uday on the other side. "Im ok..im all right, stop worrying"She wanted to tell them but she couldn't move a muscle.
The doctor came in the evening with an envelope in her hand and said that she had something big to announce.
As everyone in the room looked she addressed Uday and said "Manyata ji ko zeher diya gaya tha yeh toh pakka ho gaya hai…par yeh bach gayi bohot badi baat hai..its a miracle; aur usse bada miracle toh aap ka baby hai..bhagwan ko shukriya boliye ki inke bachche par zeher ka zara sa bhi asar nahi hua-"
"Baby!, Yeh aap kya bol rahi hain?" Uday cut her in the middle, flabbergasted.
