are you probably talking about o saaki saaki re, aa paas aa from musafir, and confusing saaki with saathi??

other similar songs are:

o saathi re, tere bina bhi kya jeena -- from amitabh bacchan starrer muqaddar ka sinkandar

o sathi re, din dube naa -- from ajay devgan starrer omkara
