By not telling everyone the truth earlier, I think Saras and Kumud underestimated the Desais and overestimated how much their hearts can take. Over the weeks, it wasn't hard to miss how much these two unhinged each other. And from where I see, they got messed up a bit too much in the process. They didn't know how to handle this new emotion the other person made them feel and this led to them doing what hurt their loved ones: hiding something everyone deserved to know about. But today, they're willing to face it's consequences. They have the guts to right the wrong they have unintentionally caused to the Desais.
But what about them? Who would right the wrong they did to their own hearts by not listening to it? To their own emotions by not heeding to them? To their own feelings by not admitting to them? The Saras and the Kumud I saw today looked every bit like the people with shattered dreams that they are. They've been hurting far too long and their emotions are a bleeding septic now. Ironically, though, they're also the ones who are an antiseptic for nursing each other's broken heart. No one else can do it for them because the way the make each other feel, no one else ever has or ever can. They hurt each other but they're also the only people who can soothe each other's pain. THAT is how complex their relationship is.
