My POV on Ishita: A predatory husband-snatcher

Ishita perceives a man who's loving, caring and faithful to his wife as available and attractive is not normal "mistress" behavior but, an indication of her disturbed mind.

Her interest in Yash stems from being spurned at the mandap and includes. an intense feeling of insecurity and the absence of love and a proper "father" figure. And then of course there is the "thrill" of danger in having to overcome Aarti and conquer Yash.

Yash is appealing to Ishita because he appears to be an ideal lover, father, and as someone who is healthily secure in his life.

Ishita has not blocked out from her mind Aarti's existence, her pregnancy or AarYa's 3 kids but has gone a step ahead and is planning their elimination!

She perceives her behavior and attitude to be right so she believes that Yash too should be of the same mindset as her. Something akin to "I see nothing wrong so why should Yash? I am not worried so why should he?"

In short Ishita is very insightful, aware of her motivations and deliberate in her actions. Whilst AarYa are totally unaware that they are being targeted by an amoral homewrecker who is determined and vicious!

@bold, this is so so true. For Ishita, Aarti is the other 'woman'. According to her, Aarti has taken the place that should have been rightfully hers. And like you mentioned, she sees nothing wrong in her faulty thinking process. Well, at least until her deviousness is out on display for everyone. Bua already sees her as a snake. Akaash won't be true surprised by her true face either. And I think Aarti at some level is not very comfortable with her either although I don't think that feeling has reached Aarti's consciousness yet. Interesting to see how Ishita will try to hold onto her advantage for too long, especially if Akaash jumps ship. Until now she used Akash to do many of her dirty work and if he is not going to comply any more then it is going to get difficult for her to work for Aarti's down fall from behind the scenes.

Her mental attitude: Desperate and sad isn't it?

Well, she will not be able steal Yash. However she will definitely make AarYa and their childrens lives difficult!!

You are right neither Aarti, Yash or the rest of the family have a clue about Ishita's nature or intentions. Akaash is confused but I don't think he is aware either!
