Chapter-16(A)

Manvi's POV

Tonight I have my very first real date with Virat. I'm mean sure we were in a relationship and completely committed to each other but this was our FIRST date. I mean, I can't help but feel a little nervous.

Also, we're gonna have to hide our date from the boys and Jeevika. That's not gonna really be a problem since everyone was off doing they're own thing tonight.

Barun is off to see Pashmeen, Jeevika's staying over at Viren's, and Arjun, Sameer, and Karan are going clubbing. Virat said that he's gonna pick me up at 7 and I should dress in something comfortable, and slightly dressy. He also said another bunch of cheesy stuff but that doesn't matter.

Usually Jeevika helps me out on a date, but right now I'm on my own.

I sighed and checked my watch. It was 6:00, might as well get ready.

I ran up to my room. What should I wear? He didn't really give me much details for the date. He said it was a 'surprise'.

Okay, I personally love surprises but honestly, how the hell am I supposed to know what to wear? I picked up my phone.

I really hate you right now. - Manvi.

In a few seconds I got a reply. WHYY? I LOVE YOU :( - Virat xxx.

I giggled at the extra x's, way to show your love Virat.

Because I don't know what to wear! You're mean, I no like you anymore. - Manvi NO XES, MWAHAHAHA

I giggled as I locked my phone. Now time to actually get ready. I searched through my closet, looking for something decent.

In the middle of my searching, my phone buzzed.

I picked it up immediately as I saw Pashu flash on the screen.

"Pashu!" I exclaimed. I heard her sweet giggles.

"Manvi! I miss you." She said sadly.

I giggled, "I miss you too, babe. When are you free?" I asked.

"Today I got dance rehearsals, but tomorrow I'm free, you?" She asked excitedly.

"Oh you know, busy going to parties, dates, clubs, all that kind of stuff." I replied sarcastically.

She chuckled. "Mhm, I'm sure you are. Anyways tomorrow, you're coming over. No boys. Nobody. Just me and you, alright?" Pashu asked.

"Yeah! Ohmygod, I never saw your house." I said, giggling.

"Well, tomorrow's your lucky day! Listen babe, I gotta go but I'll see you tomorrow." Pashmeen said quickly.

"Bye!" I said before closing the phone. I sighed, I really did miss Pashu. Anyways...back to getting ready and

this time...no interruptions.

Virat's POV

Candles...check.

Blanket...check.

Food...check.

Music...check

Everything was absolutely perfect. It was Manvi and I's first date, everything had to be perfect. Although, I don't even need to try because everytime Manvi and I are together everything's already perfect.

The boys were all gone. Nobody was in the flat and I checked the time, It was 6:30. Time to pick up Manvi, I thought with a grin.

I gently placed the rose I got her in my pocket. I got her a rose since it reminded me of her. A rose is beautiful, peaceful, sweet, and full of life. So is my Manvi.

I entered my car, still with a big goofy grin. People will probably think I'm retarded but I just can't wipe of this goofy grin.

I knocked at her door and took a deep breath. I was slightly nervous...I mean I wanted this to be perfect. She deserved the best and that's exactly what I intend on giving her.

Before I had time to think about anything else, the door flew open. There stood Manvi, looking naturally and unbelievably gorgeous.

She never failed to send the butterflies wildly in my stomach and to make my head spin.

She was dressed in a casual affair, but she still managed to look like a freakin' beauty queen.

Her hair was put into a cute french braid to the side and of course, she didn't wear any makeup.

I smiled lovingly at her. "Hello beautiful." I said as she smiled back.

She leaned up and gave me a quick peck on the lips. I smiled, that kiss made me want more but I restrained myself.

"I got a rose for my Rose." I said handing it to her.

She giggled. "You are so cheesy." She said.

I chuckled, "Just for you." I kissed her head.

"Are you ready to go?" I whispered in her ear. She grinned and nodded.

I grabbed a hold of her hand, leading her to my car. I opened the car door for her and she entered smiling her beautiful smile.

I got in the drivers seat. "Wanna tell me where we're going?" Manvi asked grinning.

I chuckled and kissed her nose. After I pulled away, I secured a blindfold over her eyes. "No peeking,baby." I whispered in her ear.

She pouted. How adorable...

I smiled and drove the way to my flat. Yes, the date is at my flat. Trust me it's a lot more romantic than it sounds. I like my first dates to be calming and romantic, and I know that Manvi does too.

We reached my flat and I got out of my car, racing to Manvi's side. I opened her car door.

"You know I'd love to get out, but me being blindfolded is kind of preventing me from doing that." She stated.

I laughed and helped her out. "Ready?" I whispered in her ear, as I led her to my flat.

"Mhm." She giggled.

I unlocked the door of my flat, and grasped her delicate hand as we entered. I took her to the living room where her favorite song, She Will Be Loved, was playing softly in the background.

I turned around to face Manvi.

"You can take of the blindfold now." I said, smiling.

*Manvi's POV*

"You can take of the blindfold now." Virat informed me.

I put my hands behind my head and untied the blindfold.

The blindfold fell to the ground and I almost gasped at the sight before me.

Virat had set out a blanket in the middle of the living room. He put a basket in the middle of it, meaning it was an indoor picnic.

The lights were slightly dimmed so it looked romantic.

There were rose pedals scattered around and my favorite song was playing in the background.
