"I am happy to be a part of the show, which has become so popular among the masses," said Mona, who started her career with "Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin", which ran for three years, in a statement.

"It's been a fun ride since day one and it's always an enjoyable experience to work with the other actors in the show," she added.

To commemorate the occasion, a cake cutting ceremony was held on the sets with the entire cast of the show, which also features Mouli Ganguly and Apara Mehta in the lead roles.

Recently the show took a 10-year leap and Sargun Mehta, Mohit Malhotra and Neelam Sivia joined the cast. Post leap, Pawan Shankar, who played Mona's husband, is not seen in the show.

"Kya Huaa Tera Vaada" revolves around a housewife, played by Mona, and the ups and downs in her life. So far, the twists and turns have managed to engage the audience.

The latest track shows Mona getting married to Jatin (Hiten Tejwani), which will bring a new twist in her life.
