Madhu the Sherni & RK

Oh wait.

It's not.

Really RK? I mean, really?! You have absolutely no right to make Madhu feel like the scum of the earth and to treat her like such. She honestly laid it to him twice fold though. Whipping out his insecurity in front of his face, and in essence baring him naked in front of them both. I don't think Madhu gets enough love for standing up to RK. This woman has gone through the trenches of love's hell and back because of him, and yet she can still stand to face him everyday and basically give his bs back to him.

AND WHEN SHE SAID SADIST.

My baby girl! *cheers and applauds* I know someone said it was too heavy of a word for Madhu to say, but we as a third audience are not limited to our view RK, but SHE is. All she has seen of him is the ridiculous lengths he has gone to torture her, to feed his own ego. WE have seen that as well. This entire charade of being in love with her was a ploy to break her beyond repair, and in the end satisfy his sick need for revenge. RK did in fact derive pleasure from it BUT WE have seen that he has been hurt from it too, which was unexpected for him. And yet Madhu hasn't seen his hurting side, so really her use of the word was completely justified.

Oh and that bit where RK's mom says "khush raho", and RK launches into a dialogue of self pity? Please, spare us the horror of sympathizing with you. I mean if RK had ulterior motives to this revenge, then sure I could totally empathize and understand where this came from.

But he doesn't, and so I have every right to want to smack him upside the head. He treats Madhu like a commodity and then has the audacity to spew dialogues of self pity, it's not very endearing. It actually upsets me that he feels he can exercise a right over her.

Let me explain how this is wrong on so many levels.

A) She is your EX wife. And how many times has she SCREAMED this at RK? How many times has Madhu all but defeatedly told him that he means nothing to her because she is NOT his wife, she is not his anything?! And yet this man still thinks of her as some sort of possession in his life. No.

B) Being your EX wife and having no relation to you, threatening her and demanding answers out of her, and manhandling her is called harassment, especially in the workplace. So really she could sue you.

It's not even that RKs constant popping in and out of her life is hindering Madhu, because it's not. It's actually HELPING her to see what kind of man she truly fell in love with, and she hates herself for it. Madhu cannot believe she fell in love with a man who is so insecure that he feels the need to intimidate her. She has fallen in her own eyes, by seeing his true colours, and now she knows to not make the same mistake twice.

The problem in this story has always been RK, and it will always be RK. The way RK sees Madhu right now is NOT as a woman who is intelligent and an individual who deserves respect and equality. He sees her as a possession he has lost from his grip and so to fill the hole that she has left, he is trying to break her into coming back. That is not love, that's JUNOON. He isn't in love with her because he has no idea what it means to love someone. He has however seen it. RK has seen Madhu's love for him, the care, the affection, the desire, and the need to be with someone so fervently it consumes. And because he has seen her love, he now craves it. Craves it because he has never seen something like it, he craves it because he is a darkness running towards her light, he craves it because once a monster is broken by love he will forever run towards it (even if he cannot bring himself to love). But this is the interwoven foundation of his junoon. He is running towards her but even catching a glimpse of her does nothing to quench him.

If this is his junoon, I wonder dear forum readers, what his love will be. It will either be a reflection of his maddening junoon, OR, it will break him completely and RK will in the end become RIshabh. Rishabh the man who was lost in the world of his own making, but brought back to life from a love lost. And if it is the latter, it is only THEN he deserves to be with Madhu. Madhu needs a MAN, not the self centered jerk that is RK.

Because really the only person RK cares about right now is RK. Think about it. He cares that HE is hurt, that Madhu is ignoring HIM, that Madhu might have another suitor and so therefore she is truly over HIM. He doesn't care that he is hurting Madhu by harassing her or that manhandling her is only bringing her anger. It matters not to him what is happening to HER, but what is happening to HIM. HE'S hurting, HE'S angry. So it's not love, it's a self serving and self centric view of the world and ESPECIALLY of Madhu. And the day he realizes it, is the day he can find within himself to realize love.

Pretty sure I'm going to get flack for not liking RK, but it is my opinion and of course everyone is allowed to agree or disagree(:
