TOI:Umed Singh quits Uttaran disappointed

Seems nothing is going right with Filmfarm Production's uttaran on Colors. The show which ruled millions of hearts for years now, suddenly made headlines for Tina Dutta's replacement due to her unbearable tantrums.

To add on, we too hear that another actor from the show is on the verge to leave the show. " Akhil Mishra, who essayed the character of Umed Singh has decided on to quit the show as he is not happy with the way production house is dealing," said sources.

"I have sent a text to my producers about the same and would do all the paper work tomorrow," confirmed Akhil.

We dig in more to know the reason behind his decision and the actor openly commented, "There were many issues like budget, dates and the most annoying are the liars residing in the production house, who in spite of my availability confirms that I am not available for the scenes and many such reasons."

So are producers involved in the same? "No, my producers are good. They are amazing as producers but they don't know what is happening on the sets and what their production people are goofing up."

"There is a huge miscommunication between the actors, production people and the producers. Frankly speaking I am a person, who doesn't believe in violence but my producers are at harm. They don't know what their people are doing to them they are harming them to the core. Being a producer I know how it goes around and I sense a lack of governance in the production house about which the producers are unaware," observes Akhil.

"There is a saying which reads it's harmful to be very simple," concludes Akhil.
