Shweta & Manav out of Nach Baliye2!!

Embroiled in the SIM cards controversy to garner more votes on Nach Baliye 2, Manav Gohil and Shweta Kawaatra bounced back with impressive performances over the last few weeks. But it was too good to last.

The couple's illustrious calling in the show came to an end this Wednesday, when they found themselves in the danger zone, along with with Hiten Tejwani and Gauri Pradhan. This episode will be aired on Monday.

This particular round involved solo performances. The couples ended up with the same score from the judges (48 points), but Gauri-Hiten dominated the public votes once again. Eventually, Shweta and Manav got axed. Prior to this, the couple had landed in the danger zone twice.
When contacted, Manav sounded very low and would only say, "I am not supposed to talk about this."

But our sources on the sets confirmed Manav and Shweta's ouster saying, "Manav danced superbly and even got a Natraj trophy from the judges, but Shweta goofed up very badly."

The outgoing couple did not take the popularity factor too well. Our source said that they felt that they were the better dancers than Gauri-Hiten and hence should have remained.

Bad performance

But a contestant (requesting anonymity) who is still in the fray told us, "The competition has reached that stage where only the current performance matters. I don't think Manav and Shweta could have remained after Shweta's bad performance on Wednesday.

If Hiten and Gauri edged them out thanks to public votes, it's not their fault that they are so popular. It was a tie all right, but Hiten and Gauri were both on par (24 points each). On the other hand, Shweta managed to score only 18 points. Since Nach Baliye is all about jodis, they lost."

i agree its not HG fault if they are popular but it is definitely the voters fault who keep voting for this horrible jodi who cant even dance right. i mean let's admit it they suck as dancers and this is a DANCE competition so yes bad luck for SM but they should have remained based on their dance. GH on the other hand are just staying here not for their dance but for somethign else. this competition is not fun anymore because of this wierd choice people have for HG. sorry to say but they suck and they are taking away a precious space from other contestents. they are even worse than all the couples that are here.
i know all the fans might feel bad but its the truth guys. you should be able to accept the truth. you can make them pass all these rounds but they will NEVER win the competition. i can bet millions on it. its better that the best jodis do the semi final and final competition rather than this horrendous dancing couple.

hg are not the bestest dancers but they are trying their best like everyone one on the show.The reason that this show has voting is because the fans of the couples are suppose to vote for their fav couple. I saw so many posts talking about hg winning over sm cuz of the votes. 😕 😭

one bad performance and u r out...easy to say that.how about half a dozen bad performances and still being in the fray.did u watch the regional round and see how hg goofed upthe whole dance...not just a few steps but the whole dance!it was annoying to see gauri doing the awfully confused hand movements..saroj khan even going to the extent of telling them u insulted the bhangra dance.and this is not the 1st time....excuse me,learning thru the first few rounds is ok,now u r in the stage where only the best should be in...u cant be studying still when u are to put the pen on paper during the exams.i dont want to be mean to hiten gauri but those who vote for them should consider if their favs wouldbe able to bear the now-so-intense competition.
i feel bad 4 shweta manav 😭 😭 😭 they were good and always so sporting and nice to all the other couples too.guys i feel if it popularity that gets u thru why carry on the competition rather hand over the trophy to HG 😡...

hiten gauri rocks. i enjoy them dancing. iam entertained by their performance and i think nach balliye is all about emtertaiment. its not a talent haunt at all. cause all cotestant are already a celebrity. 😃
